View Full Version : Gaddis's WTB List.

Since thing are always changing between plans or what I can afford/find I'm gonna leave it listed as a general WTB list and update it periodicly.
Ti 6mt shift knob
02-07' dash beam bracket
04-07' STi shifter boot trim ring
04-07' STi accelerator pedal
04/05' STi ECU
04-07' STi MAF sensor
05-07' STi airbag and clock spring.
JDM first gen roof vent latch and hing hardware
I know there is more I'm hunting for or have my eye on the horizon to...

Why don't you just buy an STi?
Seraphinwolf
02-11-2010, 05:02 AM
$600 a month and still have to pay for mods that would never quite be what I want exactly.
OR!
I can spend the money on a car I already have and have exactly what I want.
jmb1983
02-11-2010, 05:23 AM
How much have you spent on the never ending quest of a build?
Seraphinwolf
02-11-2010, 05:41 AM
I can safely say if I put the money souly towards a GR8(which if I got an STi that's what i'd get) I'd be most of the way paid off. Both the Impreza and SVX take up money.
But also I would have to sit down to calculate it all up for just the Impreza. I have gotten parts way below what most might beable to find prices on as well as I've bought then resold parts as well. Most if the time when I resell parts I either lose nothing or even make money out if the deal.
Then there are the points where you can't put a price on having made good friends who help you out on some things... Which reminds me I still need to talk Bakemono-Imports into being a vendor on here.
ever look for a salvaged sti?
Seraphinwolf
02-13-2010, 02:55 AM
I already looked at that path. Would cost to much without the risk being to high of having to scrap too many of the parts. Besides I have no where to put a car to get stripped down.

Dump all the cars. Buy house.

More like finish Impreza. Move to Cali. Buy house.

thats amazingly cheap for all that.....he already has brembos if I am correct...if I didn't have to buy rims for that to fit I would buy that right now lol
Seraphinwolf
02-16-2010, 07:19 AM
Those are 5x100... Too much stuff to try and resell. Is a killer deal though.
Seraphinwolf
02-16-2010, 07:33 AM
I'll take a second look when I get home. It'd a "too good" price...
Seraphinwolf
02-16-2010, 08:00 AM
Yeah that's only the calipers and the rotors. I already have those... Actually i need to find someone to by the 5x100 rotors off me.

Just the rotors. I'm keeping my calipers unless I were to find a whole 5x114.3 hub with brembos for a good price.

I've got my budy Trey looking in Japan
wont overseas freight costs, customs fee's, taxes and such kill any saving U may realize on price?
Just curious as I used to work for a place that imported raw materials just to over time they ended up costing just as much. Unseen overhead can be a killer...
Seraphinwolf
02-25-2010, 07:21 AM
I'm just have him look into it. If I can't get it for cheaper even after he loads it on his next container great! If not? Oh well.
