I bought her new in Dec of 05 and she was the last Aspen White in the east coast. I traded in my 99 RS and fell in love. (minus a few small details) The rear wing was the first thing to go and I swapped trunks with an 06 WRX... sucker... The big wing attracted too much attention for my liking. Every mod since then has been something subtle and I am trying to keep it low key and tasteful. My goal is to have a really stock looking Subaru that just happens to be pretty powerful and still hold its own on the auto-x.

If you want to pay a little less and swap for your OEM stuff now you can have them sooner. But this deal with Tom is regaurding the Impreza not the SVX.

Plugs are in, coolant is flushed, oil is being changed this week. Coilovers are being delivered this weekend. Calipers are being powder coated and coilovers are going on the same day. Then corner balance and alignment. After that it is Bren tune on the 18th. I have a busy week ahead of me!

Got my banjo filter removed and oil changed on friday and the CEL hasn't come back on since. Should be ok. I am headed back to Manch suby tomorrow to get an alignment since synaptic3 is booked through the middle of may. I still want to get my corner balance done there but I NEED an alignment bad. Also I need to write a review for the ISC coilovers, which are pretty awesome so far, but I want to make sure everything is properly set up before I write reviews.

So I went down to visit Bren today to hang out with my cousin while Bren worked his magic on his new 2010 WRX. While I was there, he touched up my tune with some new AVCS adjustment jargon stuff I have no idea what it is or does, but Brendan says it adds more torque. So now I got some more! Sweet! So I was driving (more like tearing up the asphalt) over to Burlington, VT the other day and my boost gauge dropped to -40 psi which doesn't exist on my gauge. Then it proceeds to tell me that my peak boost is 12 psi when I know darn well that I am pushing 20. It didn't feel like 12 thats for sure. I tore the gauge apart to see what is going on and it is officially broken. The needle just spins freely. New boost gauge time!

I have MadDad Clarity Ti's for gauges but I am thinking about getting some prosports since I changed my cluster from all red to blue and MadDad only has red or green.

As for the turbo... stock VF39 which is still under warranty btw. So we will see how that plays over, if at all.

I wouldnt get the prosports. Mine are 1 year old and both my fuel pressure and oil pressure have died. They are the premium one too.

I'm going on 3 years with my Prosport mechanical boost gauge, no problems. Added Oil pressure last year and it's still working fine.

I ordered a Fast motorsports TMIC coated black with SwainTech from AJW Performance. It is basically a TurboXS but $400 cheaper. When I get it, I will be retuning to see what kind of gains we can get with it.

yeah I am a little beat up emotionally but I am physically ok.

It was so greasy out and I just lost it coming home from work. I wasn't even doing anything crazy. I pulled around a corner and the rear slid out a little and when I corrected it just got away from me. I was doing less than 25 mph. So dumb... I wish I had a cool story.

The car is fine mechanically. The rear bumper and pass front corner panel got the worst. The roof is a little dented but the thing that scares me the most is a fist sized dent on the A pillar.

Yeah I will know by tuesday whether or not it is totaled. It is at chassis masters in laconia right now. If it is totaled, I should be able to swap some stuff back to stock. I already put my stock wheels back on. We will see... :unamused:

Wow, that's crazy. I feel for you man. Do you hope they fix it or just total it out? It'd be a pain to ty and swap everything back to stock after all the time and $$ spent on it. That really suck. Sorry to hear it. Glad you're okay though, that's the important part.

well, all those will be gone now since they are replacing all but 2 panels on the car. If these guys can do what I've heard they can do, my car will look better than it did before the accident.

Went down to see the car today. My camera battery was dead so no pics but, the car is torn apart. The body is re-aligned so all the lines match up (hood and trunk close and open now) They ordered all of the parts but only a few came in and even fewer matched up (WRX bumper instead of STi bumper) so they have to send that back.

I did manage to acquire my interior pillars to turn black. I already did some duplicolor-ing on those. So that is sweet! I should be able to do the headliner too. I will have to bring the dye down there to do it though since the new headliner won't fit in my rental ford focus.

I'm just hoping that they have more progress this week, so it looks halfway decent when I go back down next monday.

Slow and steady... They have steadily been doing not much. The roof has been replaced and bumpers. Still huge dents on the pillars though. Not pumped so far

*(the adjuster dude is sucky because he has been on vacation the entire time my car was in the shop and hasn't updated me one single time even though he said he would regularly check up on me and the car)

No, they took it to get the alignment done and found out a rear coilover is bent. Sick...
they are making a big stink out of it because you have to buy a whole set. You can't just buy 1. Luckily I have a $1500 performance part add-on in my insurance policy to cover this. I just raised it up to $5000 in case something stupid like this happens in the future. So I just sit and wait for my stupid azz adjuster to call me back. They should just write me a check and let me do it... It would get done faster...

That shop replaced an entire rear panel on my moms Mercedes. Painted it and everything. It came out perfect.
