OK I need some help. My edfc on my tien flex is pissing me off. The motors work fine all around when It first starts up it does the test no problem. but I think the problem lies with the motors. They seem like they are mounted pretty hard on top. I saw that it was suppose to be hand tight I believe could that be the issue?? could being too tight be the problem? The error code for the rear is annoying.

The plan for me is to work on this issue this weekend. The EDFC was done in San Diego. Ashley Check this out hopefully it will help you. Scroll to the back for english.

Ok just got done finishing up. First thing I did was turned on the EDFC to and listened to the motors to make sure power and such was getting to them. When you turn your EDFC on it will test the motors. After I disconnected both of them and followed the steps on that PDF file i posted. After fitting them and fixing the connections with the shocks I reset the EDFC and tested it out a few time and everything worked fine. hope this helps if you have any more questions let me know.

I occasionally get an error in the front but it is very rare. All I have to do is to reset the EDFC and it fixes itself; usually just by turning the car off and restarting it. I know it doesn't help your problem but my guess at the cause is due to very stiff suspension setup.
The EDFC system utilizes stepper motors and if it receives too much vibration, it can lose its reference point. That may throw an error code. I notice that mine usually does this when I drive through cities with terrible roads.

when you look at it check the screw that's at the top and reset it to where it's suppose to be.
