Snow? What snow? OK, there are small patches here and there, but they'd get worn away by the first few cars through. Due to the lack of snow, we looked at a different part of the field that they care less about getting torn up. It's... lumpy. VERY lumpy. So much that about 10mph was about all I could handle in my car. So, that's pretty much off the menu for now.

The good news is the cold temps we've had for a while, and will continue to have next week, have frozen the original field rather solid, and we feel it shouldn't rut up much, if at all. So it's back to plan A - running the course George designed, where he designed it, snow or no snow. We wouldn't mind at least a few inches of snow between now and then, but worst case, we're good to go on frozen dirt.

To me this sounds fast. Frozen solid dirt, no ruts developing as the day rolls on, traction traction traction, with some tail out action when you huck it into the turns. :devil:
