View Full Version : ATV/Dirtbike ride on Sat Jan. 23rd

hey guys I found a sick spot in Beacon Falls to go riding. its a big abandoned quarry with all kinds of woods, berms, sand etc... I went this weekend with my friend who lives down the road from it and another buddy. There were probably 15+ riders there all day. I am planning to go this coming saturday again. If anybody wants to come ride they are more than welcome to join. all you need is a pickup truck because there is a logging type road that goes about a mile in that you drive up to get to the quarry. its not too bad my buddy Dan did it with his Honda ridgeline pickup truck no problem and I was fine in my Dakota.

Totally necessary to have the ground clearance of a truck to get in? Can you PM me the addy by any chance? My back's all busted up right now, but I'd love to hit the place up once it gets better...

umm you could probably get up it in a car but it might not run on your way back down... its rutty and bumpy. you could park at the bottom of the road and ride down the path but its technically not legal to ride there so you are more likely to get bothered by po-po's parking there

what kind of info are you looking for? Not set in stone but planning going Saturday afternoon if you want to come you could meet me at my house and follow me there. do you have access to a form of transport for your bike to me? if you dont have a truck I could probably throw my tailgate down on my truck and strap it behind my ATV for the ride from my place to the quarry...

bummer, yeah it was a great weekend I rode on saturday and sunday at separate locations with different people. why did you sell the 400ex?

thanks, ill get a few pics from this saturday up later. I didnt take any sunday but sunday was intense roost sessions at the quarry. nobody was even close to keeping up with me and my two buddies which was funny because they are on a tecate 250 and a yfz450 but im on a 4x4 (sooo not stock though) and these dudes with banshees cant keep up with me lol
