Well the Loco Cocos meet went well, and i figured I would start a thread to get some February ideas kicking around. Next month will be a Northern meet so we can get the other Mainers at the meet!

Post up dates and ideas in here!

For Gabe to be that enthusiastic about the place it's gotta be good. Maybe it's time I make one of the Maine meets. So far I've crossed off NH(obvisouly), Mass, CT, and as of yesterday RI.

Been done but from what I hear it's plenty doable again. I missed the last one cause of getting my snow tires set and getting ready to meet a girl the next day.(hence rush on snow tires. :D) So glad personally I had to ditch that meet.:o

um.... let me think, Res and Lion are out because the under 21 members cant go, and we did the GLB in Nov. Could do Gritties in Dirt Lew or Freeport though.

Also this time i should have $s to attend and maybe the body somewhat nice but thats a pipe dream

Joe

Nice guys, a lot of good ideas! We did do GLB in December, so that is out. And No age-limiting places, as it would be unfair. Keep them coming though and I will start a poll at the end of the week.

I think we should do Buck's then. They have accomodated Subaru club members in the past, and I can call again to make sure we are fully accomodated as far as having a few tables, pitchers of water, etc etc.

i'd be down as long as it's not just you and me

If we had more northern maine folks I'd even have one in the UMO area :)

My sister lives up there.

I am all for the Augusta/ Waterville area too! :D
I saw a place I really, really want to try out called: Cacciatores an Italian Steakhouse (http://cacciatores.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=29) located in Waterville (where TJ Maxx is and down the road from Mardens).
Their menu looks AMAZING and it's actually really affordable too!! They also have gluten free pasta available AND they have a wide variety of Vegetarian dishes as well, which I know a couple members and/ or their partners would appreciate.
I encourage you to click on the link I provided and take a look at their menus, you won't be disappointed!

Ideally, If it is going that far north, I would like to start the meet earlier (4ish) That way we are not all driving home too late.

I'm thinking I'm seeing about 7 people for it. So I say, skip the poll and just go to scheduling it! <3 February 13th is the Saturday [day] before Valentine's Day, not sure if there are going to be any romantic get-aways- but if we're all going to be around, that should be a good day.

Alright, Bucks BBQ it is! I think the 13th is a good day as well, say around 4pm. I would start a poll, but can't seem to remember how to so I am just gonna have you guys post here if that date works. If so, I will create another thread.
