So we have a car come in a few weeks back for a tune, as the car seems to be breaking up a bit and just doesn't seem to be running right. This car had an ATP GT30R with a top mount, injectors that were too small, and from what we heard - a stock (or just not 3") inlet. So we get the car in and see what's really going on. Long story short, we make an appointment with the customer to get a 3" inlet, TGV deletes, and 850cc injectors installed. Keep in mind it was the last owner of the car that did this, so even the customer was quite surprised with what came out from under his intake manifold:

Keep in mind that that metal step from 2.4" to 3" on the turbo side was basically glued to the turbo. We were amazed by this all day yesterday and we thought we'd share. :)

Holy crap. Seriously, wtF were they thinking. When I first saw that, I thought it was a roll of duct tape at the turbo end, lol.

No pictures, but that's right, all you could really see was the Agency Power hard pipe on the front side and towards the turbo with closer inspection, you'd notce it was stock with a step... so then you go in with a flash light trying to figure out what happened!

It wasn't until we got it off that we could really all stand back and laugh at the thing. :)
