Now that 2010 is here: I need to get my front and rear swaybars I have installed, my Perrin TMIC (black) will be here in a few days. Once installed I need to retouch my tune with Bren Tuning for some more boost. Im also getting my summer wheels torn down this week for powdercoating.

In the works for the summer will be, PnP stock manifolds, turbo inlet, new 50/50 BOV, 750cc injectors and maybe a ride down to see Bren for a real big tuning session.

I'd like to have 17s but going lower is a greater urge. Probably some plain H&R or Eibach springs. Projected for late summer.

A nice stereo system. The base impreza sound system sucks. Its been waaaaay to long since I've had decent tunes in my car. And maybe a TomTom or Garmin.

Might paint my sons' cars. Might do an engine swap in slap happy OBS.

Beyond that, I'd like to tackle some maintenance and restoration on the SVX. Brakes, struts, tires, alignment, plugs, etc... Basically, just grab the 90k maintenance schedule and go right down the list. Plus some paint in a couple spots. Basically, by summer I'd like the SVX to look, feel, and drive just like it did when I bought it 7yrs ago with only 20k on it.

Depending on what I have left for expendible cash after that, I might try to paint the side skirts, front bumper, and hood on the WRX. I also might try the headlight restoration kit from FastWRX.com, since both the SVX and WRX need that badly.

Just gave it a tune-up, but I'd like to fix the piston slap (slop?) problem. Maybe I can talk the guy into doing a nice balance of the crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons. I'll definitely send the heads out for a re-planing to keep the head gasket problem from coming back.

Yeah I think i'll wait for it to warm up a bit first. Not to good for the tires and I suffer from traction issues anyways. It's not like driving a subbie = p

I plan to Mod my wallet by removing one car from my Fleet of cars and install the 4 leaking oil seals and reseal the oil pump.

Possibly even repair the rust holes in both my cars.

Down pipe and stage 2 tune in about a month, then later this year...front mount, bigger injectors, tint windows, smoke tail lights, cf hood, cf trunk, cf rear window spoiler, lowering springs, advan rs-d rims or powder coat my stock ones for now, new head unit and speakers. Then whatever else I cant afford.

piston slap? replace #2 and #4 pistons, and hone the cylinders. voila! no more noise. :)

Looks like all bets are off because we have to replace the radiator (AGAIN). This time it was rubbing the A/C condenser that was zip-tied in place. This car is always finding new ways to surprise us.

I feel like cutting all losses and just parting it out, taking it to a junk yard and celebrating it being crushed.

find an inexpensive way to raise the suspension. damn STi's sit way too low:unamused: get the paint chips repaired. new hawk pads. get the RS wheels powder coated, cause I did a ****ie job painting them:( and I like the black on black look better than black with goldies

Theres not much difference in how the struts sit and work, but the control arm is now pushed down from where it normally sits. I'm thinking control arm bushings might wear a bit sooner than normal, but not too bad.

Im also considering this for my car or the OBS.
