Northern RI meet at Dave & Busters

Whats up everyone?! A few people were talking about having another RI meet and what place better than D&B? A bunch of people from up north are coming down to see what RI is all about so i figure we should show them all how we roll.

We are going to do this on Jan 16th 2010 at Dave and Busters at 6PM is the address along with a link to directions for all those comming in from up north or down south.

This falls on a saturday so it is open late, i was thinking aboutus all meeting up at 8pm or so but that is still up for debate.

We are all going to meet up on the very top level of the parking garage which is open to the outside and mainly because it is almost always empty. We will probably wait up there for an hour or so before we all go inside just because some people are driving about 4 or more hours to get here and we don't want to leave anyone behind. Plus I might toss on this stromung catback while we wait for ppl to arrive :bull: provided the guy who is selling it to me gets there on time :D

A few of us are going to head over to Newport creamery on smith street from there at some point because we all know that awful awfuls are ****ing awesome! It is only about 5 minutes away from D&B so if you have never had an awful awful you MUST come and try one!

After that who knows, it is in downtown providence so a bar crawl might be in order :drink:, and if anyone is too wasted to make the trek home to NH, VT, ME or wherever the hell you are from, there are plenty of hotels in the area or you can chill in your Subie in the parking garage overnight for like $25 or something lol either way don't drive drunk.

Anyway I am sure this will be a fun time for everyone so feel free to shoot me a PM if you plan on going !!

NPC in warwick is closest off the highway...then cruise to bonnet shores down a nice twisty and to the beach :D we can set that up for spring or summer this year! If everyone can afford it we can get a proper lobster dinner down there too!!

Steak is easy to do too! I know there are a few people that don't eat lobster. Frankly I only eat the tails and claws. I like the legs but too much work.

when we are able to go, we usually don't leave until about 7ish. We get there around 7:30 then eat at 8ish.

What time do you normally get out? Once we get a car up and running, we'll gladly convoy with you :)


There's no strict attendance policy (must be there on time or not at all). We'll wait for you and meet up with the dining group if it comes to that. :D

Yeah we waited in the D&B parking lot for well over 2 hours until everyone got there and that was for a relatively small meet, I assume a bigger meet would wait longer until ppl stopped showing up.

Even if you are late there is a plan to eat so you could just park and go in to eat. Plus RI is tiny you can get anywhere in 30 mins ;p
