I've heard that rears are best to do first

what do you drive? sti sways would be the cheapest upgrade IMO

Check to make sure what ever you ge will bolt up or that you get has what you need to bolt up to your application.
+1 on rear sway.

I would recommend whiteline. since you have a model that is hard to come by parts for, they should be able to suit you just fine. I had a 94 turbo wagon, and they had just about everything i could ask for. check page 51. I would recommend going w/ 20mm front, 22 rear since you said you wanted a little rear bias.

I thought the STI RSBs don't fit as well as WRX ones?

I don't think the impreza sway will fit on a leggy.

No, cause the legacy has the spare tire well in the way underneath.

Thanks i will check out whiteline. Would a rear sway bar from a outback be better than the one on my car?

I have to tell you I was skeptical when somebody told me... but you can get a set of coilovers for not that much more then sways and it will feel like your driving a different car. I did them on my LGT and made a world of difference. you should get in touch with Josh at Import Image Racing (he's a vendor on here) and ask him about your options. he has always given me honest and unbiased opinions when im looking to buy stuff and he cut me a great deal
