I remember talking to jon at the last meet I was at. (Libby's) It was right after I installed my stealthback and we were talking about heat shields. He said a few of you got some heat shields made up from a diagram you found. I was wondering if anyone still has that kicking around. I could just cut my stock one to fit. But I have all the necessary tools and supplies to make a nicer one than a cut POS. If anyone knows of this, or where I could find a diagram, let me know. I'd rather have that then fully fabricate one, but if all else fails, thats my last option. Thanks!
Sorry, my bad, didn't see the mods....move me please!

Jon has a heatshield that i made for him. it's a Cusco knockoff. i won't have time to make any more for a while (partly because i lost my template, and have to make a new one)
a buddy of mine is selling a Cobb heatshield. i'll ask him what he wants for it (as he now has an 07 chevy 2500HD w/ a duramax/allison 6speed...cause his car blew a motor, then 3rd gear, then caught on fire. yea, bad luck)

My sliced and diced stock one is great. Cant go wrong. I even coated mine after with high temp paint after.
Lend it to me. I will cut it up for you.

I am capable of that, thank you though. I just want to have something that looks a little better than that. Hence the paint, I know. But I like to fabricate things like that, gives me something to do being stuck back at my parents house. I can come up with a template by measuring and all that, but getting one is easier....well....lazier. :D
