I also think the "Hi My Name is" thing is a little cheezy imo. Moderately cheezy even. Ok...screw it I'll come clean... it's just reeeeaaally gghheeyy.

But we all can try to come up with some other creative ways to leave a blank spot for people to write their names in or whatever... Make it look more like a team shirt rather than a parent teacher conference shirt

Well sometimes meets DO feel like a parent teacher conference for people. Especially new members. I like Mike's idea about turning it into a liscence plate for the name.

There is endless amounts that you could do with graphic designing, how bout we get more ideas on what people think would look good on shirts and what not, then people can start designing. I think some sort of plate on the front of a shirt with a design on the back would look cool, vice versa, design on front and name plate on the back. I'm gonna mess around some more later.

Why not do them made to order, and keep it very simple.
Black shirt. On the front in white (centered or left breast), a Subaru logo with USERNAME@NES (Ex: Gearhead Geek @ NES) underneath. Keeps it simple for meets so people can put a face to names, then introduce themselves by real name from there. Also it's basic enough that people most likely wouldn't mind wearing them on a day to day basis without wondering if everyone around thinks they're insane (lol).
As for the back, just do the new site logo fairly large (perhaps opt to change the gray to solid black, saves on cost), and underneath it just do something like "CT - MA - NH - RI - VT - ME".
Just a thought.

Well if we polled who would buy multiples if they could get a couple colors wouldn't it likely show more people to buy shirts period? I mean with more garrentied sales can't you put in an order that would be large enough to not hurt just because the base shirt the logos are going on are fewer if each individual color? I'm sure you can talk them into giving you the regular price for as though it was one color. I mean doesn't cost them anything to run the same exact thing on a different color. This isn't autobody work where red and pearl paints will rape you vs. a black.

(not sure if someone else posted this because I've been away for a little bit, so please don't get mad if it's a double post! I tried to go back through all 9 pages but DAMN haha)

But I think it's easier to do a pre-order of shirts if they're the more expensive ones and have people pay for them THEN order. Then you can get a simpler design for the "Hey Randy, do you have any shirts left?" orders and if there's enough interest of people wanting to do a second pre-order for a more expensive shirt you can do another group buy type thing.
