I was drivin the fozzie on the freeway the other nite and I went to downshift from 5th to 4th and the car had no power to the wheels. After coasting off an exit and stopping in a safe area I checked the fork connected to the slave and it was functioning. I then tried to put the car in gear and see if it would move but I had nothing. I could literally let the clutch out in any gear and the car would just sit there and still idle. The syncros feel normal and shifts smoothly. Back when I bought the car the clutch did shutter and slip on occasion and I am almost 100% sure thats what it is. Any Ideas before I waste my time and money on this problem????

Preasure plate could be gone but your car would rev and not accelerate alot before getting to that point.

Before it broke, when did the clutch engage? would it grab very close to full release? I believe you can adjust it under the dash...
