Aug Ride Of The Month : Nominations

Alright guys, its been long enough. If I could have a mod sticky this, it would be awesome.

It's time to post those pics to see who has the Ride of the Month.

Nomination will run til the end of this Friday,
when we can start a poll for the best Ride on the Site.
After a week of voting, the top 2 Rides will battle it out the next week and the winner will be crown...

Rules :
- The first 5 nominated will be put in a poll.
- Those 5 nominated will post 5 pictures of their car.
- There are to be only 5 pics of each car
(1 exterior, 1 interior, 1 engine, 2 of anything you want)
- Those posted will be thrown into a poll where we will vote for
who we think has the best ride.

wait, can i suggest a better way to work this.

Each person can nominate someone else. There is a maximum of 4 or 5 cometitors each month. So after 4 or 5 people get nominated, then we run a vote to see who has the best. Then next month, we run nominations again etc.

If we limit it to 4 or 5, then everyone will get a chance to compete rather than just everyone running at once. Also, rather than everyone just submitting **** of their own car, it would be better for someone to nominate someone else so that they will be 'more worthy' :)

oh also, I think that we should use screen names to do nominations / voting rather than peoples REAL name. That way, it's easier for people new to the forums and people that don't know everyone's name really well.

And you live where? If it's the Dover area, Hilton Park is good(shots overlooking the Memorial Bridge, or Great Bay) or downtown by the mills/river. In the Portsmouth area, Prescott Park is always good(overlooking the Shipyard or the gardens, maybe even Strawberry Bank). Hampton/Rye areas have plenty of seacoast for artsy ocean/gravel wall shots. In Manch(which I assume you're not), I like to shoot under the bridge on Commercial St. next to Milly's Tavern, with the mills as a backdrop.
