Never before seen pictures, now including Front Lip and Rear diffuser. DIY style made by me. Take that for being original!

All these years later, a nicely done Mk1 Impreza still looks "right". All I'd change is JDM red/white tails.

+1... I have a turbo'd 1.8 Impreza in my future, somewhere. Still looks great, Rob. BTW, what exhaust? Doesn't look familiar.

Finished with the interior! Added the blue Sti carpet, thanks to TOM! And redid the door cards in a similar blue microfiber/seude material.

It looks nice and clean again.

Rob, for the love of god, stop flaunting that sport bumper. One of these days you're gonna come outside to find it missing from your car

New motor is about ready to pop back into the car. hopefully this weekend she will be purring again. This time with more torque!

Also, i got bored last night so i put soem high temp paint on the turbo and made it look pretty. Cold side is a 1200 degree red, and the hot sdie has a dark glazzy brown and black spec paint rated for 2000 degrees. I wanted to powdercoat the turbo but, i wasnt sure how it would react under the constant heat of an oven at 400 for 1 hour or so.

Well fiberglassing sucks this entire month so, im going to do something ive wanted to do for the past few months.

is300 flares with uber wide wheels. 17 x 10's :D

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1696787

He did exactly what i was planning and hte results look fantastic! Widebody costs so much that its not even worth it unless you do car shows all the time. I havent bought anything yet because im debating whether to just fix the rust spots or redo the whole car.

Both will cost the same amount and i ahve the time and space to do it. What to do?

SilverSubie2.5
06-18-2009, 08:35 PM
That would look amazing Rob! I think even going with the way gold rush did it (post 62 in that thread) would look pretty badass.

Robk0000
06-18-2009, 08:56 PM
yeah even that wouldnt be bad, but i dont think i would keep them one piece and just go from fender to bumper like he did. Plus i like fiberglassing. And in a heated garage this will kick ass! especially on the crappy nights in jefferson.

I am going to repaint the car too. I will stick with Red but, i think either a flat red or a darker color. The srp is impossible to match and you can see every spot that was touched up throughout the years. lol
