A friend of mine was look at my car today. He said he'd thought he'd heard something about Subaru's where you can adjust the drivetrain to put more power to the front or rear of the car, essentially having the option to change it from front, rear or all wheel drive. Anyone ever hear of something like this?

It's called DCCD and it's only available in the STi. It allows the driver to
To change the front/rear ratio as much as 40/60.

It is also possible to turn off the rear wheels on some vehicles by removing
a fuse.

Powertrain, but yeah what Randy said though. STi 6 speeds and some JDM models.
Cept for a small detail. The rate you adjust the ratio is dependent on the model. 04' and 05' STi's can adjust a little farthur. 35/65 front/rear. :D
