On the way back from the swap meet in york my axle boot riped on the front passenger side. Upon futher inspection the axle had broke under the boot. I was wondering if any one could help me with the following:
1. Could my axles from a 02 wrx could be swapped out with a set of stock sti ones?
2. Who makes stronger axles out there for wrx's?
3. Any one have a stock set for sale in the mean time?

STi won't fit.... But if you know someone who has some... 05'=07' Let me know. I need some.
About the only stronger will be a matter of getting CF ones or Titanimum ones.

You'll have to get WRX axles, which are fine. You prolly launched it a ton too many times which caused it to break OR ran the boot dry with grease when it split and ruined it that way. How much power does your car have? Stock axles should be fine up to ~330whp giving you dont launch like a tard all the time.

you can get drive shaft shop axels put that just moves the weak link to your trans and diffs. I would rather break a stock axel then one of those lol.

271whp, 317tq. There was a lot of grease that came out of it but I've never really launch it hard. I've heard that larger downpipes can cause the boots to wear faster from the heat they give off.
