Took another trip (my second one) from NH to EFI Logics in CT yesterday to have my alignment checked/tweaked and to have Chris make some adjustments to my tune. As was the case the first time around, it was well worth the 400 mile round trip!

Chris re-mapped throttle response and adjusted idle speed as per my request. It's now perfect for my needs!

My alignment was checked and the front toe-out situation I suspected was found and corrected.

My thanks to EFI Logics for their great service. These guys know Subarus and their expertise shows in the results!

The tune was done this summer on a hot, humid day -

IMI VF48 turbo
STi TMIC
STi Hood Scoop
Subtle Splitter
Grimmspeed PnP/ceramic coated exhaust manifolds
MadDad catted bellmouth DP
MadDad Forester-specific 3-inch Whisper cat-back
KillerB oil pickup tube
Tuned by EFI Logics (http://www.efilogics.com/dyno/index.php?runid1=511&runid2=0&hp=1&torque=1&boost=1&gb=0)

My car is a 4EAT. I had Chris re-map the throttle so that the first 40 to 50% stays out boost, which allows for gradual, even throttle modulation. Once I stick my foot into it, it goes!

HOLY TORQUE!!! So with the throttle like that, it helps alot with the automatic? My cousin has a 5eat that needs a tune, and that would be something to look at.

A lot of teh leggy guys have their TR adjusted, makes the 4EAT managable with mods :)

The re-mapped throttle is much more manageable. Before, it seemed if I sneezed and my foot wiggled a little, the 4EAT would downshift, the turbo would go into full boost and every driver around me would notice the commotion. "Oooops, sorry about that."

I think throttle sensitivity is a good point to discuss with your tuner before they proceed, especially with VFxx series turbos that tend to come on hard. Chris accommodated my request (and lack of fine motor skills in my right foot) and made it right!

BIG thanks to EFI Logics!
HUGE help with the car getting in working order and MOST important the tune! Justin couldn't be happier with the outcome as the work completed is perfect and the car runs/idles like stock....just a HELL of alot faster!

I look forward to letting you guys put the magic touch on my 08!
