I grew up in RI, and moved back for a few years when I went to college. There isn't all that much to do really. But then again it depends what you're looking for. I used to frequent D&B's, and a place called club hell. They have themed nights and rock'n'roll night was pretty freakin' cool. Avoid fetish night, unless you want to get tied up in a stock and whipped...

me and 3 others couldn't find a table or hell even room at the bar for the life of us within the over half hour we were in there walking around. and those places are HUGE!

Apparently some 25 year old kids went to a club, were offered to take a girl home, went home and told their moms. We all know how moms react to their "sons" getting offered female companionship for money. Either way, moms were rallied, and politicians were written to. Now it's illegal.

+1 Dave and Buster's ! Its an arcade with LOTS of multiplayer racing games, a NASCAR simulator which even if you don't like NASCAR its lots of fun because it is VERY realistic. Also you can walk around with your beer while you play the arcades.

The beach is always fun, in the summer...

Other than that there are a bunch of nice restaurants and other touristy things in Newport. (And you get to drive over the Jamestown bridge.)

I am down for a D&B meet, when is it jan 18th? everyone park at the very top level of the parking garage it is usually empty up there and on the way down you can drift around the parking garage provided it is empty,...I don't know what the concrete road is made of but it is basically tractionless lol. plus once everything is over and done with the highway is right there.

Like everyone said, not all that much to do in RI, unless you guys are into off roading there are a few places ins situate that we could tear up...but people tend no to be so gung ho about getting down and dirty in their STi or swap :D either way I am game to do some drinkin and some gaming. And if dave and busters gets boring we can stuble our asses over to about 20 other bars in the area.....there is also a movie theater right across from D&B. There is also some awesome places to eat on thayer street and atwells ave. One of the best BBQ places in the courntry is on atwells and East side pockets on thayer has some ****ing awesome greek food. Thayer street can also facilitate any of your chemical/herbal dependencies also lol just ask any random seedy looking dude, he'll tell ya!

oh yeah Seraphinwolf (http://newenglandsubarus.com/forums/member.php?u=514) when we do this I am bringing the turbo back so you can see it in person hehe.

I'll try to think of anything else we could do but honestly D&B is probably the most exciting thing in providence as I think all clubs are lame, especially here, as someone mentioned before if you go to club hell on fetish night be prepared to see toothless crackwhores running around wearing nothing but electrical tape on there nipples...then promptly gouge your eyes out with a spoon and light them ablaze on that same token there are you ocassional hot goth chicks that also attend lol so it is like a double edged sword really but yeah...clubs suck.

Anyways this will be cool something to look foward to in the dismal month of January, hopefully it will snow a bit, that will be a true subie meet!

Bring it. I"ll probably just buy it from you. I can decide once the car's running if I want to run the gReddy or the SPT. Likely run the gReddy and sell the SPT to a friend who's in this next year to be running an 01' L with an RS motor with a turbo.

Mehh... Consider it a birthday thread for the January Gangstas like myself. I"ll call it a BDay present to myself. And yeah don't worry about the box. I"ll be fitting it into the SVX anyways. Should fit. I"ve had a full turbo back from a 05 LGT in there without a problem. That y-pipe eats a lot more space than a single. Oh and I"ve had the SPT back there too so yeah deff know it will fit.

So now let me try and get ahold of Justin to figure out which day is okay for him.

nearest creamery is on smith street not even 10 mins away, it is RI so everything is like 10 mins away lol ...depending on how many people show we could fill the entire lot at the creamery
