It comes out a week from Tuesday. It is going to be undoubtedly the best game ever made. So good all major game titles that were schedules to be released from now until Christmas postponed their release date until next year some time because they don't want to compete. Gamestop has 2,000,000 copies reserved and paid for already.

XBOX live is the the single best reason to own a 360. It's like 5 bucks a month...SO worth it. It makes every game like 5 billion times better and makes the 60 bucks you pay for games worth every cent.

Don't waste your money on the 3 month trial because when it runs out you WILL renew it with the 1 year membership because XBOX Live is addicting and the main purpose of MW2. So just spend the $50.00 up front and get it for the year because its a way better deal. They make their money off of the people who do the 3 month trial and then get the year membership. Don't be screwed by microsoft :lol:

Ill be getting it for PC. I don't console game FPS's. The only thing I am already disliking about it (for pc) is that the server setup will be the same as console gaming, which sucks. PC has had the upper hand the whole time with the ability to customize servers which I think is necessary

i think every room is camper city unless you play objective. Then it moves to everyone using 203's and gets stupid.

Its a great game! The online is a lot different, they changed up the play style with the maps and the health amount. There is a 1,000,000,000,000 places for people to hide and it feels like its a lot easier to die and once you start getting shot you cant really come back from it and kill whoever is shooting you. So basically you cant run and gun down the middle of the road anymore, you have to slowly and tactically move around the maps. And definitely beat the story mode ASAP! I had chills through the whole thing and the ending left me completely speechless through the entire credits except for the occasional "OH MY GOD THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!"

So there is my mini review :lol: If anybody wants to know anything else let me know and I will see if I can answer, I spend alot of time playing this game :lol:

yea but for me the story and how it was told and everything is what made the campaign that much better.

Your a 40 :lol: you should play demolition with me, you get the most points besides Search and Destroy but if you haven't been playing long I wouldn't suggest search and destroy :lol: you will rank up a lot faster and get a lot more kills than Team Deathmatch.

I need to wander online and do the two player ones.....
I like some of the stealth ones even though they are taking me a few tries to get through them, I'm getting all "stabby" with my opponents...

I have now played online and am getting used to it... I have been playuing FPS games for a long time now and here are some impressions...

1) Maps... NOT enuff of them, they need to release a map pack badly for multiplayer..

2) Steam.... It just suxx, plain and simple. The new version of the PC game requires Steam to B installed and running during ALL game play

3) A patch for the glitches... There are wall people can evaporate through, I have seen people glitching inside of crates and a few other things that are bad news for the life expectancy of the game.

3) Anti-cheat system... I am not 100% sure what they use but it is terrible... Most games I play use Punkbuster (PB-a, PB-b and now PB-c which is an invisible process in UR PC) and have the ability to stream information to the punks-busted master server hub that covers ALL games under its umbrella. Having the game hosted locally on what they deem is the best connection is in fact a serious error, there is no way to monitor the hacks being used... would U like some links to the ones they ARE NOT catching? It gets frustrating finding someone laying down in the corner, facing the wrong way getting head shot after head shot...


4) VOIP.. is just plain old ghey. It seems U can not disable it in this game, only mute it. This is absorbing bandwdith and FPS from gameplay to listen t people who are 14 years old, learning to swear and are typically a bunch of asshats. It even has the nerve to interfere with my teamspeak/ventrillo making communicating with the group I play with next to impossble...

5) Unlocks for special weapons... COME ONE... who offers a tactical nuke unlock at a 30 kill streak that totally ends the game because everyone dies? The only people that get it are the hackers from what everyone can see, no one is going to get that many kills without dying in these maps..

6) Unlocks... I am always on the fence about these.... they are a great lure for getting better and to keep playing... They also can toss the balance of a game way off, it isnt fair for a more experienced player to have that many advantages over a newb... At least they unlocks in the COD series are not as devastating as in other games, the BF series was just miserable for that...the other side of that is I wish some of the COD unlocks were better but I understand the dealio...


IMHO they "EA Gamed" this... they rushed to get it to market knowing it had more holes than a loaf of swiss cheese. The design of mult player is weaksauce and offers no controls to the server host as far as maps, screen shots and an anticheat system: It is wild wild west with the cheaters...

This has become a rare instance that I can say I like the single player alot better....

I struggle with the games people make and sell for the $$$ they do... the best two FPSers on the planet are Free mods of an already exisiting game... FREE PEOPLE FREE... Also having EA games screw over Frank DeLise' early on with the battlefield series was a terrible set-back. His BF1942 was a MASTERPIECE so of course EA screwed him and sent him into hiding for years...

Your kill/death ration would probably be the best gauge of how "skilled" u are at the game. Second would probably be your win/loss record. Your rank doesnt mean jack it just shows how many more hours you've sat on your @$$ than the next dude

I wouldn't even say win/loss, because I get disconnected all the time. Also if you have people on your team getting 2 kills and 15 deaths there isn't much you can do about that.

2 many hackers & hacks they will NEVER catch the way it is set up... Steam and VAC are also the "weaksauce" of the catching hackers community!

Yep they blew it with the hosting, made it so the game will in fact die faster than most FPS games do... I have a gaming server in upstate NY that has been aching to run a dedicated server or two for this but it soooo IS NOT worth it.... If U search goggle for methods to butcher the COD games they are all over the place, especially with how thew new hosting works: it eliminates hosts from waging their own warfare with hackers via MD5 tools and streaming...

The tactical nuke as an unlock is also the gheyest most village people listening, liberace dressing thing they could have done.... Lets make it so the hackers can end the game and get more kills after getting 21 consecutive kills...

The game is sooooo bad I will NOT use my real gaming name, wear my clan tags ( & I own it!) or even admit I play it to many people.

One more time.... Go get battlefield2, go find the AIX2.0 mod (its free), the map pack and the updates.... If I don't believe it come on over for some multi-player on my LAN. All it takes is hearing the A-10 front gun once and SOLD...

OH OH... YEstersday VAC thought it caught on to a rash of hacking with its system scans... It appears they were looking at registry entries on IE and firefox looking for specific entries... I guess ANYONE whoever had certain phrases appear were assumed to be hackers and banned..No complaints, no screenshots and no proof other than their invasive software...

I am pretty damm close to deleting the entire thing from my system at this point... I am irritable enuff at three punkbusters chugging along without the VALVE Anti Cheat eating at mt PC for this game... Id rather play BF2142 and that is sad sad sad

Camping has increased to astronomical levels.

and a new trend. What they call "Noob Boosting"

where on say free for all 2 or more people will hide in secret spot and start knifing each other till one either just flat out wins or gets a nuke. and its gotten big now

I mean i gone through 3 servers that had 3 different sets of boosters. and trust me its the most irritating thing ever. makes ya wanna reach in there and slit their throats

I like COD MOW 2...i just hate all the frackers that run around with Akimbo G18s and/or the stupid marathon/lightweight/commando+ with pistol knife attactment. The later one stopped me from playing CTF anymore. I would unload MGs and shottys at them point blank when they running at me and you could see them stab/jump at me from 10 feet away.

I said fawk that and stopped playing my favorite mode. Now I got lvl 70 with AK and just get on once and awhile when I'm board trying to get all the AK unlocks. I love the game...hate people.

Same thing applies to the bastids in BC2...i hate those people as well :unamused:
