View Full Version : How much horse power does your car have?
batorr

I think that it's safe to say that almost everyone on this site has done something or another to increase the horsepower and torque in their car. I was able to bring my 2002 wrx from 191whp to 259whp. I was proud to be able to get this many horses out of my mods and even prouder to take out an evo 9. I want to start a thread that allows people to brag about the hp's that their babies can put out

not sure on the exact amount of whp or tq because my last dyno run was done on the street as opposed to in the shop at synaptic 3. alex raised the boost by 2 psi to 20 and he said that the car should have about an extra 40whp ontop of what it was putting out during its last tune which was 307whp and 351tq.

since i **** my pants on a regular basis independent from how or what i drive, the question is not all that applicable.
i will say that i'm used to power fading after 4-5k rpm. so to now have something that gets stronger basically all the way to redline is nice. and when you shift close to redline, you get plunked into the meat of the torque band for the following gear, so there's no fall off. it's just easy to go fast now. just what i needed...

Could be the tq not falling on it's face and the top end of the turbo that make it look low.
