I need to go with a new clutch after finding out my stock one is slipping....apparently drag racing and the unstock amount of HP and TQ has mad it feel the need to not work....even in this tough economy my clutch wants to go for unemployment. These are my thoughts I welcome yours.

I am thinking about getting a new clutch/flywheel combo

Clutch I am thinking about.

isnt a lightweight flywheel on a turbo car a bad idea?

I like it although I really dont launch the car. but it handle the 400whp/400wtq pretty well no issues or complaints about the setup

I'd definetly go ACT, I went to a 2600 with street disc and there street light flywheel in my GSX after running a centerforce CFDF and there is a night and day difference. Be prepared though, your left calf is going to get really strong :D. As for the light weight flywheel, you will have to adjust your launch technique a little cause it will be easier to bog, but your car will also be easier to shift. Just stick with a street disc (cro-moly) and you'll be fine, its when you go with the stupid light aluminum flywheels the driveability suffers and launching becomes a real challenge.
