my friend just picked up a 99 legacy gt and it has CUT springs...i know i know...must've been an ex honda owner lol.
my question is...will wrx springs fit the legacy?

I think if you have a full set of take offs (struts, springs and top hats) from a WRX, it will fit.

Ah, I also know more about the wagons. My 96 Legacy wagon, and bug eye rear top hats are the same. Silly sedan owners.

I'm pretty sure the way they bolt on both top AND bottom is different. Also, they would be way to short I think.

From what I've read, they go in fine if you assemble the setup with Legacy tophats.
Ninja Edit: As long as they're '02-'03 WRX springs/struts. I haven't heard the same for other years.

There was a really good, comprehensive spring interchange-ability chart over on legacycentral a while back that I had used when modifying my ss suspension. I'll try to get back over there and see if I can find it again.
