EFI Update!

We've had a bunch of great builds going on lately and I figured I'd throw them up for some viewing pleasure!

First is Alex's '06 STi. This car was built at another shop and we found two broken pistons and two broken Rods in the mixture. So we replaced the shortblock, threw in some of our forged pistons, cleaned up the fuel system that was in the car, added some Group N engine and tranny mounts and lip and called it a day! The car is running great and we're looking forward to tuning it once Alex is done with his break in period!

Next up is Billy's '05 STi. You may have seen this car on IWSTI or in Modified magazine last year. The car was also here during our meet a few weeks ago if you were able to make it (that big red Chevy truck was his as well). The motor in this car was built twice already and he came in for a tune after purchasing the car from North Dakota and it turns out the motor was toast again! So in it came for a rebuild. Much like Alex's car, this got a new short block and pistons and is also getting it's current fuel system overhauled and rerouted. However, Billy also went with new valves/springs, some porting on the heads, and Cosworth camshafts. This car is in the last stages of the build now and we can't wait to see this beast on the dyno as well!

Some tuning updates...

The other day we tuned a white Evo X GSR that was having injector issues when we ran it here a few months back. They came in with the new Deatschwerks 1000cc injectors and what a difference! The Evo X has: Cosworth Stage 1 Cams, FP Red with stock actuator 26psi taper to 23, GM Boost control Solenoid, Agency Power Turbo back, DW1000cc Injectors, Injen Intake, and a Cobb AP V2. It's final numbers were a whopping 418hp and 364ft/lb of torque!

With many of the same mods minus the cams, we also retuned Lou's Evo X with the same injector swap, peaking at 370hp and 341ft/lb of torque:

We also tuned a Mazdaspeed3 the other day with a turboback exhaust, fuel pump, intake, and FMIC and we had excellent results! It made 270hp and 298ft/lb of torque.
