Yeah, Elites are $300, no better time. I got a great deal on mine, and still spent more than that.

Well, oversteer is ever present in those games, at least once hp is up (you better be racing without traction on!!) and controlling it in drifts is pretty hard. Plus shots of the cars just racing is less phenomenal. Plus, I hear this one actually has drifting, but also rally, circuit and drag! All around fun.

Yeah, there is a 2.0 turbo Legacy and a race car. I think I'm gonna buy the 08 STI. Then, start with some of the muscle cars they have, there are a bunch. Also, they have plain grey stock cars. Like nascar, without the graphics yet. Those look like they could be fun.

OMG, you can put an EZ36 into cars, but they dont have any cars that it would make sense to swap!!!

Also can do straight up drivetrain swap :evil:

The amount of modifications available is incredible. Now why can't it have as many cars as GT4!!!

I've been a Forza geek since the OG Forza for Xbox. This game is better in (almost) every way. I don't have online currently, so I have no issues with the lack of custom matches that everyone else is *****ing about. Car physics seem much better, and the Subarus drive more accurately than they did in Forza 2.

Sadly it is making me get Highspeed again from the crooks at Comcast :unamused:

Edit: Tom, you could have bought Forza 1,2, and 3 in the time between GT4 and GT5 :lol: And yes they do have a 1080P output.

Yeah, I think the GT franchise is suffering from starlet syndrome. You know, when some teenage girl becomes a music of movie celeb, and then she goes on a bender, making people wait, doing coke, crashing more cares than Billy Joel.

Sadly, it's taken so long for GT5 to come to market, there isn't even that much buzz about it! The new Need For Speed is pretty good, physics aren't perfect, but then I've never driven a Viper around a track...so who knows. :lol:

yea word of warning if you have a plasma tv like i do xbox360s suck balls unless you buy the HDMI cable.
So i went out and bought it and it allows you to play with the video settings so you can set it for your tv.

I know its not a rally game, but there are almost as many porsche gt3 race cars (only difference is paint schemes) as there are subies!! c'mon!

The interior views are crazy good as well, accurate gauges and all!

Photomode is the shiz too, you can pause in the middle of anything, and start doing all sorts of crazy photo things, then just go back to racing.

Also, I put buying more Subies on hold to build my early 90's trans am (yee haw) and my mk1 gti that is now twin turbo 3.6litre vr6 powered:lol: I LOVE this game.

The only thing annoying in this game is when you shift the driver doesnt reach over and shift like most games do now adays and same with the handbrake and the speedometer is way off, i will be doing 100mph and the needle on the speedometer that says 180mph has already gone around once, this was all in a 98 Supra of course, yet to try out other cars.

The speed is correct, it's in KPH you know it is right hand drive after all.

If you change the intake on the turbo cars it adds a bov. Same on the sti's. lol

I havent rolled yet but ive gotten on two wheels for a while.

Italy has some of the best levels! i cant tell you what its called right now but i have a blast everytime i do it. 7.4 mile of turns and more turns. Fun!

It's got MK1, MK2, MK5 and MK6!! Also, a few MK4's (r32, jetta) and a Toureg (diesel I think).

Lotsa cars man, definitely gotta buy this game if you have a 360 and like cars!!

As cool as the in-car views are, I can't use 'em to really race. I'm sideways way to often, and the camera is always pointed straight. At that point, I can't see where I'm sliding, just what I'm going to hit when I lose the drift, lol.

I bought it took keep me busy till MW2 came out, but it is a lot better than I expected. If you have the cash, and liked Forza2, get it. It's sweet!

It took under 10 minutes from putting in the first disc, it telling me to put in the 2nd one, loading stuff up, and switching back.
