So I hit a huge pothole with my right front wheel a few weeks ago and flattened and scuffed a 4-5 inch section. I already spent the money and replaced it, but I don't know what to do with the old wheel.

Its worth a shot.
Did you ever get quoted on how much to get it unbent? I assume it would make a decent spare.
Selling it for wicked cheap might even work.
I'm willing to bet your blingless friend won't be too keen on the idea of it becoming furniture.

with a subaru you need a full size spare so I'd say go with that :D

Depending on the cost to fix it, go for the full size spare. Is the wheel bent so much that your car wobbles?

The wheel actually isn't that bad. It still held the bead on the tire so it held air but I don't know how bad it would be off balance. I am going to look at getting a quote for fixing it.

Spraypaint it a cool color that matches your decor and hang it on your wall.

cut it in half and turn it in to a steering wheel! or a pendant or get a junk tire cut that in half too and bolt it on the back of your car like an old Lincoln!

Ehh, I haven't made any decisions yet. I'm temporarily getting laid off til the mountain is ready to open. (thanksgiving ish) So, the wheel is just sitting in storage. When I start getting real paychecks again I am probably going to make a full size spare out of it... maybe
