KJ's Paint and Customs

My name is Kevin (kgj996), and I am KJ's Paint and Customs. I am out of Dover NH, and work in Portsmouth.

I am an air frame mechanic/ sheet metal fabricator/ aircraft painter by trade, but I do custom paint work on the side. I mostly paint custom motorcycles, but I have just started to paint car parts too. I use quality Devilbis paint guns and top shelf paint along with a "state of the art" down draft paint booth with baking capabilities. This is only a side gig for me and not my day job, so I don't paint full cars or large parts that I can't prep in my house or transport in my car. I will paint trim pieces like side skirts or fog light covers and full wheel sand blasting and paint. For now that is all I can do without having my own shop.

Right now I am offering a tail light painting service for 2008-2009 Impreza/Outback hatchbacks. I have done a hand few and they come out like Subaru should have produced them. I use a red candy for the red tint, and about 5 coats of top quality ppg clear coat over the whole lens. This allows you to polish and wax the lights like the rest of your car and will last a very ling time.

There are a few options:

1. Taking your tails off and giving them to me to paint with a 2 day down time. Fall Special! $99.99

2. Giving me your uncracked/ good condition tails and getting a pre painted set, eliminating any down time. I can also work this through the mail if you are not local, but I will need to add a core charge of $300 that will be refunded as soon as your tails are received and have no major defects like cracks or deep scratches. I can polish out any minor scrapes or scuffs.
$99.99 ($300 core charge if shipped through the mail.)

Right now I have a one time special offer for a set with one minor chip in the left tail lens that will most likely not be seen after the red and clear is applied, but I am going to take 50% off because they are not perfect. The hatch back-up lenses are brand new from Subaru and are defect free. This set will be available early next week and there is only one set, so act fast and send me a PM if you want them.
Cost: $75 + your tail lenses and back up lenses.

Here are a few pics os the lenses.

Kevin, by " in my car" could that mean something that would fit in the Mrs.'s wagon?

Question!!! how much to paint my grille? the strip along the top and rest of it black, and the emblem red?? It would be removed from the the car and I could mask off some of the parts if it would help...

Thanks for the good word! The car looks great.

As for the LGT tails, I've never taken notice if they would benefit from being painted or not. If you want yours painted I'm sure I could do that for you. :)
