i have h-techs on my 05 rex and i love the stance and they're decently priced. shoot jna performance a pm and they can hook you up

Cobb springs are way too low. But look sweet, don't get me wrong.

thats wat i was thinking.... i mean i would love to get them but def not on stock struts..... where did u order ur d spec struts and rce yellows i think thats wat im gonna go with. did u have to buy the rear spacers to make them fit in ur car? i was reading that 06-07 need the rear spacers

H-techs are a nice drop, comfortable for the every day driver and arent harsh on the struts. You can go with S-Techs but these will be alot lower, more of a aggresive look.
Eibach pro kits are nice as well with still a nice drop that doesnt disturb the driving of the vehicle.
Both kits are easy on the pocket too.
Feel free to shoot us a PM with any other questions or for prices.

The thing with the D-specs is that they are designed for the 02-03 impreza. So, if you use them with 04-07 tophats you will need the Scooby921 strut spacers in the rear. I bought the struts from a nasioc member NIB and the same with the RCE springs. Turninconcepts sells the whole setup.

S-Techs are for the loss in most cases on a stock strut setup. I agree the H-techs are decent for looks, but spring rates are fairly soft. But you have to understand I like the RCE springs with 295F/275R. H-techs are 230F/196R I believe.
Depends what you're looking for Joey. So what do you want? Performance, looks, or performance with some better looking ride height.

well going over the current funds i have i may be going for the s-techs..... and eventually buying the tokicos or similar struts in the future
i just dont kno if the s tech will be too much of a drop....

What? I'm on Cobbs with a 17x9 wheel and I don't have any rubbing issues. I am running KYB AGX struts though. I can't really tell you how the Cobbs ride since I installed them the same time I did the struts. Overall the ride's pretty stiff. I like that though.

I would go with coilovers, why do things twice if thats your intended path

what do u guys think about running the RCE yellows with the stock struts? you think they will be too harsh?
it will only be for a few months untill i get enough money for a set of tokico D specs

IMHO old stock struts with springs on them will prolly ride better than the same springs on new cheap struts

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier Joe.
RCE yellows on stock struts wouldn't be a good match at all and would most likely lead to a harsh ride. By now, you may have already picked up springs/struts?
So what did you go with?

Me and all my boys run tanabe gf210s and they have a great ride and lower the car nicely. I live in the city so the streets are not the best, but I have no issues driving around.
