15" sub though? they're so sloppy :(

it is right now cause im running a low level line out, but once i have it set up properly with a 3sixty.2 (like a cleansweap) it wont be. most 15s are sloppy but in a sealed enclosure the 15 really does snap quick when you need it to. anyhow, everything in there came out of past cars. only equiptment i need to buy is the cleansweep and two more speakers because the other two that match the ones in the front doors were smashed in my car accident with the chrysler. I also have two 12s in my basement with a 700 watt amp but they take up too much room. Im going to build a fiberglass box that puts it on an angle in the back corner and cover that with mouse hair (trunk material) so it is just chilling in the back corner. nothing fancy

and to #470:

like it says on the page BC racing BR series coilovers, and I  'em. night and day difference in handling. ride is a little stiffer but i have driven it into NYC 3 times since the install and have had no problems. my rear is still a little bit lower than my front I have to figure out how i want to ajust that (up in the rear or down in the front or a combo of both). the crafstmanship on the pieces is excelent and the extenders that come up into the trunk on the rear ones are priceless. that means you can ajust the dampening without taking the back seat out!

talk to josh over at importimageracing.com he took real good care of me. I got the coilovers the perrin LCA bushing things and the brake lines from him. can tell him Evan reccomended you call him

CTATV
10-14-2009, 03:05 PM
EFI just ajusted my coilovers properly and aligned me. I got new tires yesterday as well.

near future Im getting UP/DP and a crossover pipe then flashing to Cobb OTS Stage II.

this spring I want to throw on the AEM CAI I have as well as pick up a Perrin TMIC and maybe a few other goodies then go get a Dyno tune.

also want to do an A-pillar gauge pod and a Cobb STS at some point. from there is anybody's guess

I do have them but I'm not selling them. Sorry im anal about that, I always keep stock parts. ATVs, Motorcycles, Boats, Cars. Everything I have is modified and I have all the stock parts, full exhaust systems, rims, skid plates, you name it. I have access to two family barns so I have the room to store it all and you never know when you might need it (especially when/if I were to sell my car, I would put it back to stock.

will have photos & dyno numbers in a week or so when its done :spin:

I agree 100%

You have to modify your stock pump housing.... I def suggest you have EFI do it while it's with them.

So my dilema was Chris at EFI said i could go without it but if I went for a Fuel Pump that the walbros had fitment problems and to go with the AVO FP which is like 350 bucks... not 70

We do not do this, as we've seen these setups fail and we feel it's a bandaid to make it work to save money. The only fuel pump we will put in a Legacy or '08+ Impreza is the AVO pump.

so im spending all this money all ready and then to find out when I tune it its just not pushing and to then pay more money to re-tune after putting the pump in would be a waste

The thing is, it will not be a waste of any money if it's an issue on the dyno, since we've got the car here anyway, you won't be paying any more for tuning and we didn't already pull the old pump out, so it's no extra labor either. :)

We just mentioned not to do it unless you needed it since it's not cheap. However, if you want to just go ahead and do it, we can absolutely do that. Just let me know if you're bringing the pump down.

no I was thinking about it before I had stopped down and talked about it in person with you guys. Im going to hold off for now. You and Chris thought it would be fine so I think it will as well.

On a side note the access port arrived Thursday or Friday morning (I forget) and they said they would start working on it Friday because they didn't have many of them in there at the moment. seeing as its an old one I don't see them repairing and shipping it back for free. still havent heard from them so I assume its not done. Ill be calling them every other day to check on their progress. Like my father always told me, Squeaky wheel gets the oil...

But in other news I just talked to the guys at COBB and they said my screen and main circuit board had to be replaced. the screen was still going to be under warranty and the board was like 50 bucks. they were waiting for final notes from the tech and would be calling me tonight or tomorrow to get payment info and shipping decision :spin:
