Okay, it's DEFINITELY time to replace my rear LCA bushings on my 2005 Legacy GT, and I need to find a shop that will do it on the cheap. I called DentSport and they want ~$250. That's a bit steep for my wallet. Pulling the LCA's off myself would only work if the shop is open on Saturdays as it's my DD.
Unfortunately the Legacy LCA bushings aren't like the WRX/STi (except the 2008+, which are the exact same bushings as the LGT) so it's not so simple. Unless someone here knows how to do it myself, these are bushing with metal sleeves, so they have to be pressed in.
Thanks!

I have a spare set of LCAs if you want to do the swap independently and then sell your old arms. $100 for the set ($100/ea new from dealer), they have ~30k miles on them and you can see pics here: LINK (http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1937154&postcount=1).

You have yourself a DEAL! Holy crap that's going to be PERFECT! This upcoming week I get out of work at 5pm (work in Wellesley).

Okay... so I got replacement arms (thanks Underdog!!) and Spec.B bushings (thanks Unclemat!!) and now I need them pressed in.
I contacted DSG and they quoted me an hour's worth of work which is $95.
Anyone know if there are any capable shops around to get these pressed in for cheaper? Preferably around the Boston/Newton/Cambridge area.
Thanks!

An hour to press in Bushings is about right.
you'll be hard pressed to find someone to do it for less.
It's not that it takes a long time, in fact it only takes 20 minutes, it's that it is a pain in ole ass to press them in.

You ever get this done? Noticeable difference in the Spec.B bushing vs regular LGT?
