Official Super Meet 2 Convoy from Western MA

Hey peeps. This thread is gathering a roster (roaster?) for a convoy leaving from western ma, meeting up with adam07specb in CT and continuing on to the EFI Logics/NES SuperMeet2.

The Super meet starts a 9am, so what time you guys thinking you want to leave. Suggestions people, give them to me, and I'll try and keep this thread updated.

Time....? Someone pick something. I"ll adjust to accomidate the set schedual. This coming Saturday and next month for this meet I'll be hopped on energy drinks, which I've quit, to wake me up and keep me alert till the rest of my body goes along with being awake and different hours.

Can we try to keep this cruise a bit slower so we can all stay together and we don't have 5 people out in the left lane that have to dive off an exit last minute?

No. Cruise control will be set at 85mph. If you can't keep up, get your own maps.:D

It is only 2 exits, the first being 38, where we meet adam07specb, and the second is exit 10 off I84. I do not foresee there being a problem with people missing almost missing exits. I may print off directions sheets as well for people, just in case.

I'm pretty sure its a bit more than 30 minutes to get to EFI from the stop, so 9am might be a tad to late.

Plan a bit more than an hour. I used to do that run alot to ski, and springfield slows you down alot, even at rando ass times like 6 am. If you want to leave windosor at 8 i would plan to be leave greenfield at 645ish at the latest. Just my .02

How fast did you average? Yes CT Traffic from Springfield to Windsor is scarce, mostly farm land. Under an hour is quick from Greenfield very quick.

Not really. I usually cruise at 70mph, this trip I may have hit 75 at times. Only hit traffic once really, and that was in CT, coming into Hartford. I usually give myself about 45 minutes to get to Bradley, or rather give myself an hour, and get there early.

I'm sure I'll make the trip to Exit 38 before the 22nd, and will keep track of time and avg. speed for yous guys.

Well just past the bethel exit...cruising at 70-75 took me just under 2 hours hit a little traffic..don't know how far off 84 the shop is but that's what it took...thought I'd throw it out there was 118mi to the exit from greenfield and saw no cops on 84 couple in mass..

I'll be taking 119 to Winchester then 10 to 91 if you want to run down with me to meet up with the rest. They just repaved quite a bit of 119 heading into Winchester :D and I love the corners :D and backroad carving :D (at legal speeds ofcourse :devil:) from Fitzwilliam down to Winchester.
