Okay bumping that old plan out of the way.
94' SVX
EG33 H6 stock HP=230BHP
OBDI ECU being basicly chucked out for a MegaSquirt 2 standalone ECU.
Spare engine getting built to replace the now 123k miles original engine.
Plan on motor and such:
Heads: Port, cams, revalve and do springs, convert from hydrolic to solid lifters,
Fueling: Walbro 255, Helix 860cc sidefeed injectors, check over my lines.
Intake/Exhaust: Custom CAI or SRI, Delete eiter the 2 precats or the main cat and replace with the remaining with high flow cat/s, catback needs to get fabbed up with a high flow 1>2 muffler, headers maybe fabbed or just port the OEM manifold.
Already on the car:
KDW racing spec radiator
Perrin light weight crank pulley
Grimmspeed 160degree TStat(as soon as I remember to install it.)
There is more I think but I'll go over it later.
OLD PLAN:
 There may be Hydra very soon in the SVX's furture! And hopefully I can get it in and tuned or at least set and self learning for the Super Meet part duex. I keep telling my self I'm not gonna spend more money on the SVX unless it's repairing something that NEEDS to get fixxed till the Impreza is running and the EZ30R is going smooth, BUT I keep finding good deals from people.........:(....:o

:( Okay so the Hydra for the SVX is gonna be about $500 more than I was thinking. I don't think I'm gonna have it for SM Part Duex. I will however have either catback or Intake or both. Likely not both as I think both would throw off the simple OBDI ECU too much and I'd loose too much. Then again I do have 3 pulls. I could do cat back then add on the intake to see how much it self corrects into the negative on a second run. :o I think I might be good with both. The exhaust manifold through to the cats are what's restrictive so maybe I'll be okay.... And maybe I'll get one hell of a loud SVX on my hands again!

Yeah at the Monro. Like $30 welded the pipes. :unamused: I can't hear my car any more.... I miss the roar from it so I'm working on that one. Maybe a catback through some SVX shop guys in NJ and an intake from the buddy with the SC'd 6speed SVX in Mass. That should free up some flow and sound.:D Though my buddy in Mass was talking to me today about a true dual he and a friend did on the friend's car and I really wanted a true dual in the first place.....:o We'll see. I'll try to get things in order for SM Part Duex.

Hmmm... I can spend $900+ shipping for a complete catback bolt right it form some guys down in Jersey, or I can have a buddy down in Holden mock me up a true dual for an un specified amount.... Hmmm.....
What do you guys think?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking to. Mostly depends on how much he want to charge me. Also I've got the stock LGT cans from that free exhaust I went and got and I tried to eye ball them under teh rear and they just might fit. Would just have to worry about the RSB, opening up the rear bumper some to fit them, and hanger points. I"ll have to talk to my buddy and see what he thinks. He just did one with 1.63" ID on another car this month since he just got a pipe bender.

You know I'm talking 05+LGT right? ;) That's what's gonna be under the Impreza since it's the OEM exhaust for the EZ30R aswell. Cept I got some Xo2 cans to run on the Impreza.

Yeah, why would you put an old style LGT can on, lol. My cousin has an 05, I liked the stock ones, just too quiet.

Subaru+stock=quite no matter what. :unamused: I need to break my exhaust again. I miss hearing my car over the noise of the alt, ps, ac belts.

:( I didn't have time to get over there. Plus their site doesn't even have the shop hours posted so i wasn't sure if they'd be open. I'm gonna email them right now though to see about a few things for the SVX. Like... lowering and corner balance, and a quote on a quick job true dual exhaust and maybe if I can't get highflow replacement of the stock pre-cats I can get some and intake depending on price of work quote and if my friend down in Holden doesn't get off his ass and make one for me. Well off to send the email inquiry. WISH ME LUCK! I want this done before next sat if possible!

Yeah well I kinda let it die after I heard how much that would run me... Too much! LOL. A lot in this thread is out of date plans. Which reminds me I need to send off my MegaSquirt2 to get wired and fiddled with for the SVX. Also need to order more parts fir the Impreza!:up::up:

yeah, kris and I were discussing a true dual on the obs. he kept insisting on it.. I argued the difficulty and cost would be paaaiinnfffuuulll... and for the record, I dont want to hear about yr megasquirting! :unamused: bwahahaha. def sounds good. the svx will be all sorts of excited to have that. I figured out I need to order some bits and pieces for the lights on the bumper.. my clear corners didnt come with the pluggy bits. and I think I need the brackets for the fogs.. blahhhhh..

This in an NA engine build for the SVX not the Impreza.

feel like digging this up rather then starting a new thread. Basically I need to know everything you know/knew about megasquirting an SVX... I did some looking on rs25 but it didn't answer all my questions.
Basically, is it easy to use the stock crank and timing position sensors on a msII? can I run the spark/ignition unmodified? and who has the best fuel map for this puppy? Besides Gaddis, is there anyone else holding out a ton of info on this kind of stuff?

so are EG parts supposed to be 10x more expensive then EJ parts? This bottom end rebuild is pricing way out of my comfort zone.

Should be the same. Just x1.5 more. Maybe you need to hunt a bit deeper. I cannery and talk to a few people about where they source their's and which parts they use.
