They are the same as previous sti's just by looking at them so i would say they will work, you will need the caliper bracket in the rear along with parking brake shoes. The interior diameter of the rotor is larger than stock wrx rear rotors. I can get you some info on the shoes if youd like.

you will also need larger wheels/ offsets etc.

Back wont fit without a custom bracket (inboard/outboards spacing is different), it is different then previous years, front should bolt up fine. You will need different rotors front and back.

You'll need a 5x114.3 hub bolt pattern as well.

They make 5x100 rotors that will fit the brembo calipers (rear will still require modification though).

Godspeed is one of the only vendors out there still selling the brackets, you will also need relined parking pads.

finally you may want to think about getting SS lines, the brembos like lots of pressure and with stock rubber lines you arent going to feel like you upgraded the brakes.

WHen you go to order rotors, you can either get the 04-05 Sti rotors or just specify the dia size and bolt pattern.

What's the difference on the 08/09 Brembos anyways? Are they a significant difference from the 04-07? And if they are different could you put them on 05-07 hubs?

i dont think their is a significant difference i just think its "newer" plus the one i have a chance at getting is black. i wouldnt see why they wouldnt work on 05-07 sti hubs, same bolt pattern and rear braking diameter.

The only difference in the hubs would be boltpattern. The brembos mount to the same exact location on all the years. hell, ive got 06 sti calipers on my 2000 no modification needed.

The rears however you are going to notice the parkingbrake shoe is different on an sti than it is on a wrx. This is because of the heavier duty hub, its thicker, wider and has a larger brake shoe. Instead of replacing the enitre hub you can reline the shoe to make it fit an sti Rotor. Thus saving you about $400 in hubs and other parts.

The 08/09 STI has a different rear brake design than the others. The offset is slightly off. It may still work with previous years though.
