View Full Version : Southern Maine Install day!!
After a TON of prodding and poking from certain people:rolleyes::lol::lol:, I have decided to lend out my spacious garage for an install day. It'll be a day for people to bring cars and parts over to work on and hang out. I can provide a nice space and some hand tools and a few power tools, but if you need something specific, like a spring compressor, bring it with you!

I can accomodate 3 cars in the garage at a time, plus fit another 4-5 in my two driveways. I am ok with as many people who want to come, I just need a head count before the weekend arrives.
The date for this is Sunday July 19th. I figure people can come over any time after 12:00 pm.
besides some hand tools, some drills, and a table and band saw, I have a 3 ton jack, two 3 ton jackstands, car ramps, and 2 creepers. If you want in, post here and PM with what you want to put in and I will shoot my address to you!!!

Damn..I want in..I just have to work on Saturday. Would be there till about 6 in the evening.. Sat the 11th is my only Sat off for the month..I could do Monday the 13th or Sunday the 19th or Monday the 27th..
I still have to get some springs! Thats the easy part though..Tirerack.com. Be here in 3 days or so..
Let me know the next time you can get together and I'll see if my schedule works. I have a rotating day off..So every week its the day after the previous week. Plus Sundays but Im usually not around till 3 or so..
One question as well, Where can I get a spring compressor? Does Autozone loan em out?
Yea this is my only free Sat this month, But I can try and get another one at some point. As for the spring compressor, I am pretty sure you can rent one from autozone on there tool loan thing.

Ok guys, I need to postpone the install day because I found out I wont be here that weekend. I will try to reschedule it and you can all help by putting my old stuff onto my new car :lol: I might be able to do that Sunday, but I am not sure. I will keep everyone informed.

Ouch, I am guessing that was my missed call around 7:15 last night. I forgot my phone in the garage and didn't get it til about 10. those mustangs suck.

Yea, I was going 65-70 when he actually pulled me over but he said the plane got me at 85...I'll contest it and see what happens ;)

all the new stuff is on. We did pretty well, most of it went on very easily.
