I have always disliked the front turn signals in the front bumper of the L. Very large and very orange. So, in the process shown here I am going to move the bulb function of the directional to the corner/marker light housing. The marker light will still work, but in the same bulb as the directional just on a different filament.

Remove the bulb socket that holds the 194

Remove 1157 housing from donor vehicle. I melted mine out with a soldering iron from a 93 legacy wagon.

Trim the bottom of the 1157 socket housing to fit the contour of the impreza light housing to fit over the 194 hole. Also if you look carefully you can see I carved the middle of the 194 hole out so the 1157 bulb can fit through it.

I used a permatex epoxy that is in a mixing cup and is grey when mixed. Comes in a blue can. Then popped the bulbs/sockets in.

Kind of a crappy pic but you get the idea. I don't plan on using amber bulbs. I would like to get the siverstars that look kind of clear that glow amber.
