After having this great little piece of DIY heaven being requested nearly daily by our customers we have gone ahead and made the plunge.

We are now a Fumoto Valve retail outlet for Subarus only. If you haven't heard about the Fumoto Valve it's a valve that replaces your drain-plug on your oil pan. Open the valve and your oil drains, close it and your oil stays in the pan. Easy as that. More info located here! (http://www.fumotousa.com/)

We placed our initial order today and already have a tracking number, they'll be here early next week.

As you can see we've priced it all for the customer to save more by purchasing more filters. Obviously you aren't saving a ton per valve but they don't cost that much to begin with and there isn't much mark-up on our end.

Keep in mind, these are not designed for off road use. They DON'T make the oil pan area any more fragile than it already is. We always suggest using some sort of uncarraige protection if you're taking your vehicle off road. No one wants a fractured oil pan so please take pro-active steps to avoid such danger regardless if you're utilizing the Fumoto Valve or not!

We'd also be open to doing an introductory Group Buy on the Valve by itself, but we'd like to know what kind of interest we have. If you're interested let me know by posting up in this thread, PMing me, contacting me on AIM or by e-mail. I'll keep a tally over the next week while we wait for the valves to arrive.

These valves are freaking awesome though! So handy if you accidentally overfill your oil when changing.

These are the new blue ones. I purchased the last 6 black filters before we changed over, but that was nearly 6 months ago.

Not a single complaint on these filters yet. Unlike the blue filters prior to the black filters, these blue ones seem to be holding up just fine with no malfunctions. Not a single person has come back with any oil filter issues here at the dealership, and we do probably 20+ filters a day through just service and I ship out another 20+ per day to customers and shops. Quick estimate is nearly 1,500 filters sold and installed with no customer complaints.

No real stats on these filters except that they have some more through holes compared to the black ones, so more oil flow and any given point.

All the filters for both 4 and 6 cylinder cars are re-listed on the website at the new prices.

Each product page has 2 drop down menus. 1 menu is to add drain plug gaskets, the other is to add Fumoto Valve at the corresponding discount price per order of filters.

You sure can. How you get the valve is up to you, ship, pick-up or otherwise.

Pick-up is an option on the shipping page during check-out.

Once the order is placed we process it on our end, you'll be notified by e-mail when it is ready for pick-up. Once you get that e-mail you can come on in during normal business hours and pick it up! Easy as pie.

The Subaru takes a F-105 which is what we carry. Mitsubishi takes a F-106 which we don't carry. Unfortunately you can't just order a single valve from the distributor and we don't have any reason to take a large quantity of Mitsubishi valves in.

Picked up my valve yesterday what a nice product!!!

only one problem my crossbar is in the way amd I cant tighten it on.

Any thoughts? I dont want to have to remove it
