Update: JDM V8 6 Speed kit should be here next week. Got my new STi Alternator last week off a member on Nasioc. What an idiot, shipped it in a cardboard box with no wrapping. broke some plastic peice and 2 peices off the back of the casing. GRRRR. Still have ALOT of things to get before its done.

Just got home from Subaru. Bought the (2) front axle seals. One superceeds so it was a different part #. And bought one rear axle seal. Luckily they had them in stock and was able to walk away with them in hand. :0) As soon as i get these little quirks worked out im dropping off the parts at Synaptic3 :D
After getting home I ordered a Perrin 22mm Rear Sway bar, heavy duty mounts and bushings.
Im trying to keep you guys more updated than I did with my motor build :o

got all the old drivetrain out, front corners are on. need to mount clutch and flywheel, install trans, driveshaft, rear end, downpipe, catback, tmic, headlights and wire them, bleed brakes, tidy up guages, interior, and any other misc odds and ends. Still waiting on subaru parts though. needed to order a TON of misc stuff on backorder from NJ :0(. Im still fighting my never ending urge to upgrade my turbo (vf39)

Been a little while so here's a lil' update. Ran into a few problems (the norm with a conversion like this) One of my rear outer axle boots was torn, missing a few brackets alot of rusted nuts and bolts that needed replacing and needed to order 2 rear abs sensors (thank god for ebay) :D. I took home my front bumper beam to clean it up and paint it. Ron got the new ACT clutch and flywheel put on and installed the trans. All four corners are on now with new e-brake cables, stainless steel and coated brake lines, bled the brakes. Filled with new Motul fluid. Ron also installed my new P. Steering pump and Alternator too. Now the only original part on this new motor is my AC :eek: is it ugly :unamused:. Anyways, on to the pics...what really counts :cool:

Very nice turbo setup! the 30R is one of those perfect turbos for a setup like yours. The Perrin kit is like the only and I mean ONLY Perrin product I"ll actually suggest to people. The fitment is supposed to be great! Also what is the specs of the front mount?
And yes the hording is always the best idea! I pulled my car off the road back in 07'... yeah it's been some time. Maybe I can get stuff together this year to finish. Pretty much all figured out.
Also a HUGE +1 to the see the end in your head then see the plan.

The ARC Intercooler is tube and fin. Core is 9.5" x 22.5" x 3". Pressure Drop is supposed to be very minimal but their isn't an actual # out there that I know of. The design is also great for dissipating heat. Plus it's light as @#$%. I LOVE ARC stuff.

i was up at synaptic3 friday night to pick up my loong awaited Lail/Beatrush rear crossmember brace from Japan. they must've taken my order and had it made in the sweat shops just for me then put it in a glass bottle and heeved it into the ocean for it to get here...close to 3months. :unamused:
While I was there I met 08wrxme he was getting his fenders rolled. car looked good. at least some ppl are able to enjoy their car and drive it lol :D

my mother got diagnosed with menegitis and was really really sick in the ICU for a week and put my priorities in order so needless to say the motor will be staying in and the idea is to finish it asap so i can enjoy life and spend time with the fam without always worrying about the car.
BUT i did get a great price from Eric @ Synaptic on my braille battery and aeromotive FPR, so thats on order.
Now i need to finish customizin my 06 n/a intake manifold so we can get this show on the road lol

Was up there yesterday. Hooked Gaddis up w an uber jdm 6spd trans mount.

After that Aaron and I started to mock up the turbo kit manifold and a few other things. Trying to figure out whats going on! Crazy madness in that engine bay.

Deleted the cruise control and AC. Now you can see my Mishimotor radiator. It was blocked by that 200k mile condensor...yuk!

Stock battery is gone as well. Nice new lightweight tiny Braille is in now with Aaron Custom brackets to hold it in. Looks real good.

New wiper arms and wiper blades are on.

My valve covers are off due to a change in color scheme.

I would've gotten the STi harness to begin with IF I had done an STi swap...but then it wouldn't be as custom and personal to me. I jumped into the hybrid scene when it was still a new thing and there were still alot of unknowns. I don't regret a second of this overhaul (as I like to call it). Once it's all done I can sit back, drive and enjoy it.

It's a hybrid in the sense of mixing and matching motor parts ie frankenstein style. Not hybrid like a corn syrup sipping plug in the wall green leaf hybrid prius cr-z fuzion ect lol

Just got home from Synaptic3.

The Perrin Fuel System is out and my new system is in including the new ID1000cc injectors, Aeromotive Fuel Rails, tons of fittings and nice new lines. Had to wait for some 90degree fittings to come in, till today but it's just about done.

I haven't been to Synaptic in a few weeks. I hope to make it there tomorrow night or worst case monday. They've been doing some crazy stuff. Normal rx7s, 2011 evo, and tons of other things.
