I heard back from them quickly but I think that was only cause of not picking anything. So for all I know they just have the master list and you walk up to the tables or what not and they check you off or what ever. We get a bunch of free stuff and they even have a special party from what I hear. I'll check in on dirtyimpreza.com and ask.

New England Forest Rally would like to invite all of you to come out and show your support for local and national teams and rally in general.

This year NEFR has many things to offer spectators and volunteer workers of the event!

Worker Training: July 12th
There will also be worker training at Team O’Neil Rally School on Sunday, July 12th. Worker training IS FREE. Lunch will be provided and you will get a chance to ride with some of the teams that will be testing that day, as well as assisting in your training, at the end of the day. You will also get a candid chance to check out TON’s facilities. If you are considering school with TON, their instructors and Tim will be available to discuss details.

Training will be performed in the form of a real rally! Various situations can be directly explained through experience rather than on a classroom board. We will be training all aspects, starts, finishes, MTC’s marshaling, radio, etc. If you are an experienced and wish to come out to help train, please feel free, the more the better.

Come out to our training day and be able to meet all the teams and enjoy a day of rally in the Great North Woods!

We had some fun at the test and tune day yesterday.

This was yesterday up in NH at Team O'Neil Rally School. Finally got there at 1pm yesterday afternoon. Chased down a set of tires to use until around 3:30. Was finally out running around 4pm. Ran till 5pm. Only 3 runs through. The video is the last of the 3 runs and my worst run through. Packed up and left around 7:30pm. Chased down some tires to buy for NEFR this weekend. Dropped off the full rig at a freinds house up there. Had dinner and left at around 10:30pm. Home at 5:15am. At work at 8:30am.

So after a long weekend and finally having a chance to get to post i can update you all on what happened...

So Friday went down great minus the 2 cancelled stages due to an ambulance not being at the stage for the start. We won first in PGT and were 4th overall in the regional. 3rd overall was less than 3 seconds away, but still a great finish in a completely stock 2002 WRX with blown DMS 50's.

Saturday was not such a great day in terms of results. The SSS6 in Berlin was good, we were 2nd fastest of the regional teams. SS7 we ran a 7:35. SS8 which is same stage just the opposite direction we ran a 7:32. Great! right??? Only not so...
About half way through the stage we hit a very large rock about the size of a 15" inch wheel with my left rear wheel through a slide. Broke the wheel and shreded the tire, which then started to pull my rear bumper off and lose a mudflap as well.

Got it back to service in Berlin and pulled the rest of the rear bumper off, switched the wheels and hammered a lateral link back into place.

SS9 was the car beating 16 mile stage. We fell victim to this as well, but not bc of the road surface, a bad judgement call on my part. Fast into a L3 and ended up going full lock on the wheel. Stayed on the gas to keep the car going straight. When it snapped back it hit the bank on the left side of the road which was higher than the road shooting me across the road and down the bank onto a pile of very large rocks where i was then stuck till Heavy Sweep came through. I was worried that even heavy Sweep wouldnt be able to get me out, but they did !

Now with a front right a-arm completely bent forcing the wheel back into the body of the car, a set of left rear lat links completely bent, front bumper gone, more flaps gone, outer tie rod bent and a leaking tire we drove the .8 of a stage through the finish and out to the road. Our time on stage was 1hr9min and some seconds.
Went to the first telephone pole we found and wrapped the tow strap around it and around the front a-arm and proceeded to slam the car in reverse to get the arm to pull away enough to steer the car better. Transited to the next stage and completed it. Headed for service.

Replaced the front a-arm and banged the rears back into shape. Changed yet another wheel and headed for the next 2 stages. We set the fastest times in PGT class those 2 stages and the final stage as well after another 10min service where we put the light pod on and gassed up.

It was a long, tiring, happy, sad and triumphed weekend. Much was learned and some great memories will remain from this entire event! cant wait to get to Black River Stages now!!!

Well I had a blast up there! I was "crew chief" for the Toltec Rally Team (Niall). It was just me and my college roommate but we also had Wazoo Racing right there in case we needed something. I will defiantly be crewing again for them as I learned so much about what it takes to get ready to rally myself.

The only issue we had over the event was a small incident between Niall and another car on a stage that resulted in the cars colliding but after a bandage out of the medical kit to fix Niall's rear quarter panel the car was ready to go! :lol:

Jess and I had full intent on staying for both days of the rally but left before we even saw Concord Pond. Just wasn't feeling it this year. No one really seems excited, ourselves included. We missed 95% of Mexico Rec because we stopped to get a bite to eat so we really didn't get to see much at all this year. Meh. Hopefully people will get some decent video up on youtube so I can see what we missed.

Both stages that we saw were super short so we stuck to the spectator areas. Had we gone to Concord Pond we would've ventured out to find our own sweet, sweet spot but we packed up and left before that stage.

Aww damn, sorry we missed you. We did get spotted by a few guys from MainelySubarus. They recognized me because Jess and I were having a garage day and they just happen to be driving by that day and saw all of the Subys in our yard so they stopped in to say hi. Pretty funny.

Concord pond wasn't great, after the car went off the road they stopped the race so we only saw like six cars maybe a couple more. Very disappointing
