I changed out a couple little things today on the XT that made a huge difference. Trying to get the most bang for buck on all my mods and these two are a no brainer.
First was tranny mount. Just swapped in an sti unit and now the spongy drivetrain feeling is long gone.
Second I changed the forward shifter bushings. They are run of the mill kartboy urethane. Shifter tightness is night and day. Much more positive feel. I actually don't mind the stock lever now.http://www.mainelysubarus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif I do have the lever pivot bushings also, but those went in last week.
The pics sell themselves on both of these mods.

Loose as hell stock mount compared to sti unit.

Soft rubber is squishy and gross compared to kartboy stuff.

I was going to go with the group n sti tranny mount but my buddy bill at Bennington subaru said if you want to feel every little thing than go with the Sti because they are so stiff. How about the cusco mounts? I need to get one soon I push in the clutch and you can feel **** movin like crazy.
