One thing I didnt know is that spark plugs are pretty important on a turbo charged car. Especially cylinder #3...

Yup, No. #3 cyl sparky developed a crack. Only was noticeable at over 15psi of boost then it bucked and snorted and was flashing the CEL. New Auto-Bling-Zone plugs fixed it. The plugs aren't that bad at all. Took me just about 45 minutes.

I want to do plugs, but these pancakes I haven't even looked for where they are. Atleast it's a simple fix. Btw are they coil on plug, or coil pack. If coil pack did you replace plugs? I'm just saying incase the plug arcing to the engine heated the plug wire.

Oh, and best time was on Saturday.

58.41sec, the RE01R's and my patience cut a whole second off from last year. I think I'll need a V39 and a bigger TMIC, and I'll have a solid 57sec car.

That looks so much fun! I will have to take you up on the offer soon, plus I must see the Fiat in person. Something was supercharged in the background towards the end. Haha, I know a supercharger when I hear it.

Lol, I have to say, that picture looks like your coming out of the woods to kill someone like in Texas chainsaw massacre lol. Just need something like a car belt in your hand for a weapon.

Nice vid! My buddy Joey was cracking spark plugs as well that weekend from what I heard.

I can't wait to go to SLMP with the NESC in a month!

Yup, it was the failure du jour for the weekend. His car was amazing! I watched where DCCD would save his ass in places where my WRX would slide all over the place.

So how far was the drive, it looks like June 18th ~ is the next one, and I might be thinking of going, if I can get the STi's tune finalized.

From Manch=Vegas its about 6.5-7 hours for the track. Its a boring drive alot of the time...

You're doing it wrong then

I was hitting 58.1 on my best laps in my old WRX with the stage 2 cobb map, hoping to beat that this year with the stock sti with a reflash, tires might kill me though.

How do you get my times from an Ogdensburg post? Ogdensbirg is a hick town with no real night life...

FWIW, SLMP is in Morristown. If he had said "Great things happen in Morristown", I would have said yup, pulled a 58.4.

The phrase you're looking for is: Wedding Parties

Actually the next one I think is June 27/28 with the New England Subaru Club (www.newenglandsubaruclub.org) and the one after that is July 17/18 with the SCCV (www.sccv.org). Or maybe I'm missing something.

Wasn't directed at you, was supposed to be a general comment, guess I needed more carriage returns ;)

LOL, thats more like it!

Tires were fine. I just need more brakes and maybe a VF39 to hit the 57's. OK, maybe some fresh RA1's. Over all, I took a full second off of last years best just with suspension setup and new tires (REO1R's)

I figured next time you'd be in the Fiat :)

Rooster

Next SCCV SLMP, might be a possibility for the fiat if I haul it. I'm shooting for the 3rd SLMP.

Must finish brakes and new suspension before the NESC one!

I have a feeling I'm going to be limited by tires (and probably skill too.) General Exclaims probably aren't going to be the best track tires.

Nice to see you did well!
