View Full Version : So... I'm driving to Boston earlier...

Went to S. Boston this evening to pick up a surround sound system and was travelling on 93 S in the left lane. Somewhere just before the big white dinosour (Z. Davis bridge) I hit somesort of a cross between road construction/frost heave/pothole/jump! At about 75 I actually got aurborne not once, but twice. Scared the crap out of me but it was friggin great!

BTW, the GF almost shat herself...

thats awesome! I hit something like like on 495n coming home from CT in the legacy at 80. It scared the crap out of me I totally didnt exspect it

LOL, for 3 years I drove thru the big dig and always feared having the upper deck/lower deck collapse on me. then I hit this thing...

Wow, I always find its an adventure driving in Boston. A certain lift off oversteer moment on an offramp comes to mind....

I also jumped yesterday, on my bike though, lol speed bumps.

I used to drive on roads like that all the time :D never went that fast over a jump before though :lol:

Haha, that bump has been there for a LONG time. I feel like I get air in my 5 ton work truck, but I go 80 over it. Definitely stretches the springs out. Theres a few spots on 93 S and 93 N that do that to my work truck in the left hand lane. That's probably why Mass is going to put a toll on 93, to MAYBE fix the highway.
