Apparently the owner of SubaruWRXParts.com doesn't think that we care enough about them or bring them enough business to continue being a vendor on this site :(
I say he's wrong :)
Post in here if you have purchased an item from them or were planning to purchase an item from them.
Let's show him that NES and its members are worth his $60 a year. :D

Why not tell him he can use the site for free until he generates a sale that will cover his huge loss.

I've gotten many parts from them in the past mainly since they supported the forum and it was much easier dealing with them on here than it usually is with other companys playing phone tag and what not.
Hell I don't even buy parts from my local subie dealer here in town anymore
they'd be missed if they left the forum IMO :(

Vendor status has been free for all vendors since the inception of the site.
Charging for vendor status is something that has only started recently.
I'm sure the $60 was long since covered

I was going to make purchases...even quoted stuff out but now...
This is what it was BTW...
Front drivers side axle - $320
Undercover - $90
A/C Belt - $13
Conditioner - $1.20
As for the drive belt, the system comes up with two different part numbers with your VIN. One is for cars produced until 03/2004 and the other is for cars produced 03/2004 and after so it looks like the system is not sure which one you'd need. The part # should be on the belt itself and the only way to get the correct OEM belt is to read the number off the belt. One belt is priced at $15.50 where the other is priced at $10.50.

It is true, we are no longer a vendor :(. At this time the company has decided not to invest further money into advertising (which includes forums) until our new website goes live. Once the website goes live we will be sitting down and looking to see what advertising we invest in and where that advertising will go.
We can still be contacted via other methods such as e-mail, AIM, phone, or through any of the 3 remaining forums that we've paid for through the rest of this year.
We of course appreciate all the kind words and appreciate the business that NES members have done through us. We hope to return as a full vendor in the near future and look forward to being able to support NES and its members.
Now lets open up some threads for some of the other great vendors that have also recently left NES (Wicked Innovation, East Coast Swappers, EFI Logics...)! :)

That might be the worst idea ever...reactionary is never a good state to be in. I deal with fortune 100 companies that try to do the same thing...and its stupid :unamused:

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but this was not a reactionary move. It was an easy decision to be a vendor here when it was free since it required no budget to do so. It is not free any more which means we would have to allocate funds to continue being a vendor. Currently we have all extra funds going towards the new website, once that has completed it will open up more of the budget to new advertising. We consider NES new advertising even though we've been here since early on, but during that time it was free.
Luckily for us we're not quite a fortune 100 company ;)

Don't you worry that pretty little head of yours, we're right on track. I'm sure we'll be back as a vendor, we don't see this as a final decision, just temporary until the new website goes live in a month or so. We've been in the on-line retail business for more than 8 years now and have confidence in our current decision. No reactionary move was made, nor is it about to occur.
