Well, I'm not sure what it is. I've replaced the belts, power steering pump, alt. with no change. I tried to start the car without the power steering/ alt. belt on and the squeek goes away, but as soon as it goes back on, it comes back. I've had paul gurdack, mechanic at Import Car Center who works on Arlo's STi, Joey Kale and John look at the car and got different opinions on what it could be. This squeek comes up on idle sometimes and really makes noise when you start to go up in RPM. Any ideas would be awsome! Thanks!

By the look of it, it might be an idler pully. Wish me luck!

uh huh, did any of these experts tell you to replace the belt?

If they did, and you did replace it and it still squeals then one of your pulleys is fubar and just sliding instead of gripping, you may just be able to clean it instead of replacing the pully.

Replaced the belts, power steering pump, alt. crank pully, and ran it without the AC belt and the squeak is still there and wont go away. I'm switching out the idler pullies next. It's the only thing that hasn't been swapped out or replaced yet.
