You've got questions about cam work? I'm gonna eventually gotta find a place to work with variable valve timing in the EZ30R.:eek: Over all though I like having an NA dedicated section this should be helpfull. I plan on staying NA for a long time to come(unless i win the Lottery.)

i did the delta regrinds stage 2 with a freshly rebulit set of heads on my 2.5 and it was amazing also had lightweight crank pulley, billit flywheel, cai, borla header, cat delete pipe, full 2 1/4 exhaust 2 a ebay n1 style muff and the car was definitly as fast as a stock wrx whick i thougth was really good. the thing i like most was the power band changed it pulled hard all the way to redline instead of falling on its face at 5k like stock

swaggle has the twin in her forester-had thought of swapping but I make the same power with the single-I am use to NA wankel rotarys so I like to keep it simple.
BUT if I had a whole stack of cash I would snuggle this in the engine bay

GC4-RS -buy my heads i spun a bearing 500 miles after i put them on and just replaced the whole motor because i was gonna sell the car.

i spent almost 1000 on the heads id sell em for 500, already got delt 2000 cams in them, resufaced, performace 3 angle valve job, magnafluxed for cracks and the valve covers

The 2.5 doesn't need much more power, though is fun with I/H/E, cams, etc. Set up like that, it's a torque monster.

Unless you have a 1.8, then yes, you need more power. :)

but, if i did this, a turbo setup would not be too far behind

Don't do it don't do it don't do it! Also if your car is 96+ You're pretty much stuck with OBDII SVX bits to control a EG33 or just going for the money with the EZs. Believe me though it's money cause it takes money.

I don't care. I don't trust the bent little dog bones. Besides they back tracked on the technology a bit it seem while hurrying to get it to production. EZ30R is my choice and I'm sticking with it. 0.6L jump and all the other stuff to only go up 20ish HP and go to 87octain. Just not worth it.

Just about. Only a hair's difference. All the work is internal. I can raid my "project six-gun" subscriptions folding on NASIOC if anyone wants stuff to read for days upon days.
