1st, 2nd & 3rd place trophies at Epping this year!

"To the car peeps who go to epping (import wars) I messaged ECR and the NEW ENGLAND DRAGWAY and they will be doing 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers this season!" ~Ashlee (Midnight_Rush)

Last year they decided mid-summer to only do one trophy per class... which upset a lot of us, especially those of us who traveled a long ways only to find this out after registering etc. So this is better! We need all places!

The first show is May 23rd!

Because Town Fair Tire is dedicated to this series at New England Dragway, the top three places will be awarded in each car show category. Town Fair Tire is dedicated to awarding excellence and wants to be sure we recognize that.

I agree with you, my cars not a show car and I know that:) paying to get it covers the ball'n parking spot, thats how I see it. my car will be in the pits anyway, probubly still wax it but not go crazy detailing since I'll be racing:)

i am just saying some of us trophies are kinda like the last thing we think about while we are at a show. Well except for me to see you or mike or ashley win cause i know how happy you guys get when it happens (well that is when it happens this year for ya mels since ya only got like 1 or so shows under that cars belt) :D.
But in the end just like doing sports when you were a kid..
Its not about winning or losing.
Its about having a good time.

I was in last years show they pulled that crap. It sucked for all invovled. This will make everyone that does plan on going happy.

no the thing they pulled at the last show that was complete BS i will admit and anyone that was there will agree (or atleast in all fair and respectfulness will even if you won)
was the fact they skipped a crap load of cars when judging.
I remember walking with melanie so i could show her someones car after we talked about her bf didn't get judged and such with his orange teggy.
and that guy (one known as Tweak with the RI plate as such) said he was scrambling cause he didn't get judged either and he owns a audi.
So it wasn't just the honda's. It was from what i understand basically a lil bit of everything didn't even get judged. Which to me was unfair.
Granted to make wounds heal they did (hopefully do this again this year as i wanna do this one too) do a freebee show afterwards in the next exit over at the toyota dealer which did have your first second 3rd and even has a few different categories that epping doesn't such as lighting since its a night show.
So really we'll see when the first one rolls around

Only time i ever ate over there outside of the show was the first year i went to nopi me and a friend ate at a wendys that was around the area.
I think the super walmart down the street has a mcdonalds in it.

Yeah there is a Wendy's in town as well as a McDonald's (across the street from the Walmart plaza). You'd be better off heading to Seabrook or Manchester after the show if you want something other than fast food, though. Seabrook is a bit closer, but towards the coast.

its amazing stuff... its proffesional wax at consumer pricing... Im not just saying this b.c. they are my sponser... its truely really great stuff... the bottles are ingenious as well. they are a plunger design so it gets all of the wax out of the bottle... haha im telling you... you would even go to the extent to break open the bottle just to scoop it out like i did to wax my car yesterday... and its so easy to apply... you have to try it to believe how well it works... they are accepting sponsorship applications... all they have you do is go to show, take pics while using it and they send you a new bottle of wax. good deal huh?

hopefully i will have spring mod list complete before its time for these, i dont know if they use the same judges every year, regardless, anyone who noticed my car the past few years i wa there, will see a big difference this year. a trophy would be cool, but im not expecting it. i just hope to get some positive feedback from peeps on the progress i have made with the L, thats all.
