I'd rock one. Not in yellow, but a nice dark silver or black, some better (stiffer) suspension, and watch out tire rack, I'll be calling often.

Hyundai? Yes, remember the Pony and Excel from the '80s? Make mine the 2.0, big boost isn't far away. The Rhys Millen Racing Genesis looks rather impressive:

It's got the same World engine from the shared Evo/CSRT-4 platform, in 2.0L like the Evo, so it should hold a good amount of boost stock.

Only gripe I probably will have with it is "beef" It is likely to be heavy as hell.

There is no v8.
But I believe the car weighs ~3300lbs.

its all or nothing with options on this thing...final build price was $42,000. still cheaper than comperable sized optioned bmw...
why would i want a coupe...? lol
makes sense, the show i saw was the sedan.
Well the thread title does say Genesis Coupe. The sedan is already on the market, and its supposedly one of the best mid priced sedans out there right now.

it is still quite a bit of weight for a v6...it is 16" shorter than the sedan with a slightly shorter wheelbase...
what is comperable to the dimention on the coupe that i might have seen around here?

no dude, i was on the website building the sedan and there was a button for no options and a button for the $4000 every option hyundai could put on a car. there was no in between...:spin:
by the way, motor trend made that comparison, if you wanted to save $20,000 or so on the price. but, back to the coupe...

It's almost the exact same dimensions as an Infiniti G37 Coupe, or more commonly, similar in size to the 350Z.

the g37 is 300 lb more, but is pulling more horses as well. it is a little smaller than the pontiac g6.
it is a little lighter than my legacy..three inches shorter and 5 inches wider...i have always thought my car was heavy, but might not be too bad with a v6...
i will go do some more coupe reading...

I would not take the v6 model unless it had a lot of potential. I do like this car a lot. Very sharp looking car with some good mechanics to it but it is heavy. I am sick of heavy ass cars these days. You want to improve fuel economy... cut the ****ing fat!
Make a v6 Coupe with 300hp but make it weigh around 2800 at max. NOW that would be worth it to me. I'll wait out the Sutobaya Coupe. RWD platforms are coming more and more to the market now and I think there is better to come.
