Good ride man. Its cool to be investing a lot in power mods, but what about some suspension parts? (not just springs) It's great that it can go, but being able to handle the road is an entirely different part of it. Unless you just plan on driving straight lines at NED. At that point I guess it wouldn't matter.

i agree it will be getting some suspension parts but like SRTie4k said go fast parts are a lot cheaper than a set of coilovers. This is a budget build up since ive got 2 kids and a wife that likes to spend all our money:unamused: as soon as it gets a tune thats what im gonna focus on is all suspension. but for now get my VF setup in and tuned.:spin:

If you think the only way to upgrade suspension is to throw coilovers on then I am sorry. Time to go play!

I understand that coilovers aren't the only handling mods. Afterall, I've got CO's, wider tires, bigger front and rear swaybars w/ poly endlinks, solid motor/tranny mounts and a chassis brace with traction bars.

I was just stating my opinion and giving one of the most expensive examples, other than wider wheels/tires.

Whiteline for a few items like Anti lift kit, sways(22 front/24 rear), sway links, sway heavy duty brackets, sway lateral locks, rear control arms, roll center adjustment kit, reat diff bushing kit, rear toe lock kit, subframe lock kit, steering rack bushings, rear strut tower bar, front strut tower bar. Thats on top of the of the previously mentioned uprated struts and lower/stiffer springs. Well, that's my plan for my wagon at least.

my 2 cents on the suspension would be the TEIN EDFC controller kit with a nice set of Super Street coil overs to go with it. then with the turn of a knob from the cockpit, you can have a BMW smooth ride to take the wifey to dinner then drop her off, turn the knob again and rip up the streets with the boys :devil: these will be going into my car...

Yeah that's a stock color. NOT stock wheels. 5 spokes but I just use mine and junky winter set. Tarmac III's 18x8" in Royal Bronze for me. ;) Also before my Konig Absolutes in 18x7.5"s in gold looked sick too. I need to refurbish those for the Impreza.

Dan and Sam sandblasted the wheels and Dan and I primed them and put several coats on them and they came out GREAT!!! changes the looks of the car 100% IMO :up:

dont worry bout where ya live. just remember that you can always go back to stock ride height whenever you want!! but i do hear that the surrounding towns like guilford and dummerston are pretty good towns to live in...ive lived in both and now brattleboro. i will def keep you posted on how it goes during this winter. i was looking at how low my lip sits now and i may have to raise just a hair or two since the plow crews on I91 in VT and in MA like to leave it pretty deep.

1 1/2 - 2 HRS to get them to where they are now. it def helps when you have a second set of hands...the second one came out way better than the first...since i had Jes helping me! the second one only took about a half hour at most!

specs: 1996 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon 2.5L Automatic. Has an engine block heater. The body is pretty perfect except for 2 dime sized dents on the passenger doors, and the front bumper has some scratches in the paint. Runs and drives good and needs i think 2 struts. 1 for sure that i know of. When i got the car i did an oil change with Castrol GTX oil and a WIX filter, and have not put more then 5 miles on the car because its not registered or inspected yet...i put my WRX wheels on it the day that i got it. but they are too wide and rub for some reason. so the stock 5 spokes will go back on it soon. still up in the air about selling it but i want a BRAT! :spin: anywho on to the pics!
