For all you legacy owners... might be some info about other subi's though :)
Edit: Just saw that this same info was stickied... Somewhere in that post I made an excel file that will calculate overall diameter of a tire... so you punch in your oem, and then start changing the numbers to try and get close to the same size... it was pretty neat... no one appreciated it but w/e, I enjoyed making it.

But now the real question is can anyone give me a calculator or tell me how to calculate if my speedometer will affected by choosing a different tire size? Or what dimensions will affect your miles per hour by how much? STi's run 225/45/17's and RS body styles run 215/45/16's so I put 215/45/17's on my car and now I feel like my speedo isn't correct. Can anyone tell me if it is likely that it is off? I have a 99 RS with a full STi swap, so I have the gauges and ECU which are programed for an STi in the RS body style so I'm not sure what speed I'm really going!

so the RS's can run 215/45 or 205/55 ?

The Miata.net link will tell you EXACTLY how much of a change there will be to your speedo. ;)

also,
regarding offsets - here is some info i found on nasioc. did a lot of reading wrt offsets & rim width. i was thinking +- 10mm would be no big deal at first, but after reading a few horror stories im sold on these numbers.
tl;dr - use this as an offset fitment guide if you want your wheel bearings to last. just because the wheels fit doesn't mean they are the right wheels.
they are all +- 3mm
6.5" ....... +53 to +55
7.0" ....... +50 to +53
7.5" ....... +47 to +50
8.0" ....... +43 to +47
