Rumor of the day has it that the fabled Subaru/Toyota flat-four RWD nouveau AE86 project is back on. Still at least three years off. Code name 086A. Nyuk nyuk.

Love the idea, not a fan of the body style. Takes a lot for me to enjoy a two door "real" sports car. Have to go big block for me to really like it....or a 2 door RS.

Unfortunately with the new "86" there's no way to return to the simple, clean, upright styling of this car. The era of large windows & low beltline is over. :(
