I know a few people who have purchased through them. It seems it's hit and miss.

Seeing as they deal mostly with wrecked/damaged bikes you get basically a salvaged bike.

That being said, you can get a great deal on a good bike, you'll just have to do some work. The nice thing about bikes is that EVERYTHING is replaceable. I rebuilt a 93 Yamaha FZR600 back in 94. It was a wadded up bike but the frame and engine was good. I just replaced everything else and it was essentially a new bike.

It's a salvage shop...you have to know what your buying.

I know a ton of the guys that work there. They wont cheat you price wise...but you have to know what your getting into buying a salvaged bike.

Is it set pricing or negotiable?

They want $2900 for the bike I want but for $4500 I can get used one that's never been down.

ive bought parts from them. they will drop the price a little but you have to be willing to leave there without it though.

how would you register the bike in NH with a salvage title??

If you buy a bike from these guys with a salvage title you need to bring the bike back to new condition to get it registered in NH. After you "fix it up" the state will inspect the bike and tell you if it passes or not. They are very strick on salvage bikes and how they are fixed up. Most of the times it cost just as much, if not more to bring the bike back to new condition for it to pass inspection, as it would to buy a good used bike. These bikes are great deals for out of staters with lax salvage laws or people who are just parting them out.

I have had a bunch of friends look at bikes there and get the list of parts from the state, that need to be bought from the dealer, to get them inspected and you will spend more on parts than on the bike itself. Even light plastic scratches, they require you to buy new plastics!

This state sucks for salvage titles.

Yeah it depends. My buddy bought an SV-650 from there, got a great deal on the bike. The tank had a dent in it that needed to be taken care of before passing. Stuck a decal over it and it passed fine.

I just don't see the value to price...

I found a used 2002 Ducati 620 for 5k

They want $2900 for theirs and it has a salvage title and needs at least $500 in parts.

For 2k, i'd do it.

If your looking for a duc, you can find 2v's for cheap like Monsters or SS's. I've seen these on Craigs list for as low as $2500 with decent miles. Duc's are a hit or miss to buy used because of thier touchy valves and shims. If they haven't been adjusted properly or at the right intervals, the heads can be junk. I use to do all my own valve adjustments on my monster.
